Not able to Gather, Because I wasn't given the Gather Skill!

<div>I started a Kerra Bruiser in Freeport.  I received the quest "Of Stone and Wind".  It asks me to go "gather" dust from some various stones in the byway.  I found the stones, and try to gather and it said I failed 20 out of 20 times.  So I decide maybe I need to goto the Graveyard, Ruins, etc to get my skill up.  Well the first Root I see I try and gather.</div><div>It tels me that I cannot gather the pale root because my skill is 0 and it needs to be at least 1.  Well how do you get it to 1 from 0 if you can't get it to 1.  So I open my persona book and sure enough, I don't even HAVE the gather skill.  I have Fishing at 9, Forestry at 8, and mining at 9, and that is it.</div><div> </div><div>You should look into fixing this, so all toons have all the base skills.</div>

<div></div><p>Downtime was 2-1/2 hrs the other day.  I'm not a regular test player, but I did create a toon and find a bug while playing test during the downtime.  I posted the results in order that they might be fixed, as well as bugged it in game. </p><p>You know to help out and all.  So I make a post about the problem I found.  No reason for you to become the search police on me, geez, any other way to get your post count up?</p>
