<div>I got a pair of gloves today, that honestly must be un usable by only 1 or 2 classes, but the list of classes that can use it is out of order, which now makes for a long read on a simple drop.</div>
If you could use them, your class would be highlighted in green, which makes for a very short read.<div></div>

Two to Three columns of who could use stuff would also help bunches. The columns could be based on former archetypes (since the listing currently is). You would never need more than 3 columns since.. if you went to a 4th column, it's wearable by "all".</span><div></div>

I think the listing of all the classes that can use an item in the description is useless clutter. Out of all the changes I have seen so far, this is the ony one that shouldn't go live. If it can be used by any mage, put mage on it and have it in green if the toon is a "mage" based class. It is pretty easy to see if you can use an item when you examine it. If the lettering is red, you can't. Then look down to see if your "class" can later.

Will that person know he's a fighter, mage, scout, or priest? How? nothing tells him that he is. If that person then starts a second character (or even gets a friend to play immediately) and wants to outfit the new character with help from the original, how will he determine which items to get because that new character won't be a fighter, a mage, a scout, or a priest -and- he won't have a handy highlight to help. For those of us who have been playing, it's a good solution, but... not for the new players and new players are also who the island "tutorials" are designed for.</span><div></div>

<div></div><p>I noticed the green after i made this post, and I agree that that simplifiese things.</p><p>However aesthetically I think it should still be alphabetical, not according to the old archetype system.</p><p>And Yes, 2 months from now people won't know that a mage includes 6 different classes.</p><p> </p>

<div>Yes if its LA then all but six classes would be listed, not 4. None of the 6 mage classes can use LA. I think they should do it alphabetical, and I do like the four columns idea so the list isn't extremely long. At least if its usable by all it just says all and doesn't list all 24 classes.</div>

A maximum of 3 columns would be all that's needed, since LA would have 3 of the former archetypes as an absolute max. VLA that's not class specific would simply be "all". Armor (and those who can wear them) are also split into 4 categories, those who can wear H, M, L, and then VL which each being able to wear that below.. So the columns could alternatively, instead of in archetype columns, be in max armor type columns (which might also keep those classes able to wear stuff sooner or later lumped together, too).</span><div></div>

Have the class in green and the level in green if he is high enough, if not, the level is red but the class is green. For "twinks", I really don't care. Mail the twink some cash and have him go buy the stuff, that simple. Since you will be able to mail between cities now, it becomes even easier. If someone has to have their hand held by the time they are making a twink, they might not be the sharpest tool in the shed. Let's not always dumb it down to the LCD.</blockquote></span>

<div></div><div>The green highlight is nice when it works right. On some items I see it highlight my class then every class under it. Also if you're trying to figure out if a guildmate can use the loot you just got it can be hard to find the class of the guildmate with the current list.</div><div> </div><div>Having the list alphabetized or in columns each alpahbetized and matching the old archetype system would make it much more human readable and less intimidating to new players (especially as there's no place other than the patch notes that tell you that if the item is usable by your class it will be in green).</div>

<div></div><p>That was gone, what, somewhere around LU 13, wasn't it?</p><p> </p>
<div></div><div>The armor type has been around. What's been missing since LU 13 is the skills needed, i.e. "light armor" "very light armor". Now we see instead Cloth Armor, Leather Armor, etc. I noticed the armor type was missing on test as well.</div>

<div></div><p>Yes the armor type isn't showing up, but now rather than showing some skill (since these skills went up automatically with your level) they now just show the calls and level that it can be used at (and with the class revamp all levels are the same for all classes that can use as none acquire a new armor type during their carreers).</p><p> </p><p>Since an update is in the works for 19c can we have the armor type showing again and the level at a seperate line and not in parentheses after the classes since the level will always be the same now.</p>
