I have, for example, several spells in waiting on one of my under level 20 alts, waiting for me to slowly work it up in level to scribe them. They are (in this case) warrior spells, but my alt is going berserker. I assume that when I log in after the big change happens, I will get a prompt to choose subclass and bam I get updated.. but what will happen to my spells? What will happen to those spells that are not on my alts body? what about stuff I have up for sale?I dont have a crafter or player with unscribed spells on test so I cant check this out personally..

They should be converted to equivalent or similar spells in the new line. For example, in LU13 they changed a swashbuckler skill, and the adept1 books of it transformed into the new spell/name/etc.<div></div>

It's a good question. I would assume that generic unscribed spells will be randomly converted to spells for a specific class, but I doubt anyone is going to be happy about that.<div></div>

<div>All spell scrolls that are outdated in the newbie revamp should automatically upgrade the equivilant subclass spell. A Wizard scribing an outdated sorcerer spell at level 15 would instead scribe their equivilant subclass spell at level 15.</div>

<div></div>So when I finally roll up that Brigand (who was originally going to be a scout), and I transfer those level 1-9 adepts to him, when he scribes them, they'll automatically switch to the appropriate Brigand skill?

<div>So if I have a Master 1 Nuke in the bank for my Sorc will it turn into a Master 1 Wiz or a Master 1 Warlock spell?</div>

I'm glad that unscribed spells/runes/essences will not simply become worthless or vendor trash. No answer to SunTsu question yet, though. Will the the old spell scrolls get updated descriptions that say something like Wizard/Warlock/Illusionist/Coercer/Conjuror/Necromancer Level 1 Spell Upgrade?</span></div>

<div>I'm guessing they will be ok, as on test "old" spells are still being dropped from chests!!!!</div><div> </div><div>I scribed them and they just slot into the new equivalent. Eg the generic mage lightning burst scribed into my warlocks new "corrosive strike"/</div>

<div></div>From what I've seen old 'archetype' spell books still list the archetype and the classes that can scribe them they aren't marked in red like something you can't use. Also as of 19b I noticed that books that can be used by more than one class list all classes that can scribe it now instead of just 'mage' or 'sorcerer', etc.
