I know this has been brought up before, but I think this is an issue that needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY.I just came back to EQ2 and was very excited to see the new SOGA models. I noticed that when changing my beloved halflings hair color around that something was askew. The colors on the palette were not matching the color on my toon in the character creation stage. Then I figured it out. What the character creation was doing at the time was blending the color of the base color and the highlight color to make one color. I thought that it sucked that my character would no longer have highlights, but I got a new hair color for my halfling (dark pinkish color..and yes, I'm a girl! hehe), and all was right with the world. But no, I was wrong. Very wrong. In fact, it was picking the base color and highlight color, but I could not tell. So in my character selection screen, you see my halfling with my cute pinkish color, whereas in-game, her hair is a very very dark purple (this would have been the base color I had chosen to mix with her highlight color to make the pink) . This is NOT what I wanted. I am very very disappointed with the way she looks.Unfortunately I changed ALL my characters before I ever logged into the game to see the bug. Please, please. This needs to be fixed. When you spend so much time playing a toon, you should be satisfied with the way they look.<div></div>

I'm not sure if they've commented on it specifically...One issue I do know is that the lighting in the character creation and selection areas is somewhat different than it is in-game, often lending a reddish tinge to hair colors that wasn't intended.  Could this be what you're experiencing?Powers  &8^]<div></div>

Definitely not. I tested this on a new character. When I mixed two colors together there was a a certain color, and then when I logged into the game, the character had the original base color and the highlights. On my main character where the real complaint is that on the character selection screen, it is definitely pink, the color I really wanted. The color on my in-game character is a very very dark purple. Even in bright daylight its a very dark color. No where near what it looks like on the character selection screen.<div></div>
