<div></div>Well I'm new to test. I installed it a while back but never actually played it. Well my idea is basicly that on the test server players can request things and they get it for free. They can change there level with commands so all the testers can go around and test huge things like bosses on DoD or go to places with simple level 10 guys and take them down to by changing your level. Also players can get items by doing a command like /giveitem Sword or /giveitem Shield. Even things like /learnspell Assault. Even money would play a big factor. Also it might be helpfull to have commands like /listitems Sword which would list items that fall under a sword category. This would allow for a much wider range of testing with tons of people. Testers would be able to test things much better because they can do a level 7 task to a level 52 task. It takes a long time normally to test things like that if you didn't have this type of things. I got this idea from another game called EVE Online which allows you if you test to go onto a chat server and ask if you can have money transfered to your account so you can buy items and test them to get the bugs out.Now I don't know but some people might think this idea is completely crazy but I just think it would make a good idea. Maybe its not possible I just don't know but heres the suggestion.Thanks,Megahalo<div></div>

Not totally without precendent, either-EQLive beta testing (not Test server, but actual betas) is pretty similar. You can do /betabuff class level and get a well-equiped character of that class and level, new items are readily available, etc.<div></div>

Ya but the beta is not released to the general public.<div></div>

My point is that it is something that SoE already knows how to do, so it's not something that should take a massive amount of work on the back end.<div></div>

<P>If something like this is going to be implemented, then a Non Disclosure Agreement needs to be enforced.<BR>There should also be a tester evulation phase to insure that the people on that server are using the ability appropriately.</P> <P>These types of commands offer to much sensitve information about the game to be opened up.<BR>A number of players can start new characters on the server, buff themselves to easily gain information on content that would drastically change their success on live servers.</P> <P>It would become a tempting tactic for every major guild on the live servers to take advantage of. <BR>Content would eventually become trivial and need to adjusted.</P>

Ya I thought about that and that is a good idea to keep people from just abusing it. They should have to go through a test period and go through the tutorial level and the first isle and then with activity in events and good behavior be able to request access to those commands.<div></div>
