You should be glad they are waiting. There was some exploits and such that I'm assuming they are fixing (they fixed a few already). Every other of the 17 Live Updates everyone said "You should have waited! Fix the bugs!" Now when they do that, you people get impatient. Would you have gotten more mad if they... A) Didn't release any holiday content, or B) Waited till it was perfect. <div></div>

<P>um....</P> <P> </P> <P>I don't know who you think you are...</P> <P> </P> <P>But This is like my 4th post first of all..So don't give me this "You people".</P> <P> </P> <P>Second of all, my account has only been active for about 60 days since I quit back in march.</P> <P> </P> <P>"You people" does NOT include me. I never said "WHERE IS THE STUPID UPDATE" All i asked was that i was looking forward to it.</P> <P>I hope to god your not employed by SoE, you suck at anything close to customer service....oh wait...</P>

I use 'you people' as a generalization. If you feel that you fall under the 'people' I was describing, then so be it. <div></div>

<DIV>I can wait for Live Update #18. However if they're going to do the holiday event then they better release that sooner rather than later.</DIV>

They are obviosly waiting for the holiday weekend to break the game and not be around to fix it. Really.

<P>Gurg, Don't sweat it. There are people all over this board that can't wait to either flame someone or put someone down. "You people" lol . Gotta love the know it all <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> They spend all day searching the boards for the fist opportunity to flame someone or make them feel stupid. Sad really. Think they might lock this thread hehe</P> <P>As far as I go, I also can't wait for 18. Should be some nice changes for conjurors.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

I REALLY wish they would have waited until more of the previous content was actually ready before pushing it onto the live servers, BUT... the holiday content is time sensitive. LU18 shoudn't have included the holiday stuff. I haden't heard anything about exploits, but it wouldn't surprise me if there were. if people are good at anything, it's finding ways to cheat. <span>:smileytongue: The other thing is the test server population is woefully small compared to live servers. (there are quite a few times I've done a /who all and gotten only 20-50 names) If they would just allow copying of characters from the live servers, I'm betting the population would be considerabley larger resulting in better testing and faster patch rollout. And yes, I have a character on test. But the thought of leveling and starting from a position of zero money and equipment again is rather daunting.</span></span> <div></div>

Yup Melik, if I could copy my main to Test I would be glad to put in several hours each week testing new content. However, I don't have the time to level a toon to play there.<div></div>

Just a note: Most bugs are probably found within half an hour of testing. I know all the bugs/exploits that they are working on right now were found within an hour of the content being patched to the test server. It's not a matter of having enough people to test, it's a matter of the devs taking their time to fix the bugs.<div></div>

Yeah, but how the HELL do the cheaters find the exploits so quickly? And I am a firm believer that there are people on test just to find the exploits and they keep quiet so as to take advantage of them if they do go live... which is why we've had several quickly implimented and long duration downtimes immediately following a live update.<div></div>

Doubtful. Though there maybe people on test that try to find exploits for their live characters, most of the high level people on test play exclusively to test. Don't know how a low level character who only plays part time on test would be served finding exploits for their main. Not to turn this into another copy discussion, so I'll just leave it at that.<div></div>

Hmmmm, maybe a few high levels that play a lot to find exploits to be used on live to reap large amounts of coin for sale? Just speculation, but I've always wondered how some things hit live so fast after an update... luck, or malice. Anyway, yeah... no need to hijack.<div></div>

Couldn't they have released this patch in 2 stages, release the holiday content seperatly so that people can start participating and enjoying it and when they have the kinks worked out of the rest release LU18. Christmas is less than a week away would have been more in the "christmas spirit" to have had a bit of time to play around with the holiday stuff before Christmas. At the rate there going they will release this after New Years LOL.

As was said before, a lot of the bugs and such dealt with the event anyway.<div></div>
