Hi,I would like to make a polite request. Can we please get an account trading facility installed (not account selling or gold selling). Basically the game has changed so much I dont want to play my class anymore. In fact I am not, I just quit (not that I really wanted to).I realise you probably profit considerably because of the Exchange servers, however what I am proposing is a heavily watered down version of what is occuring on exchange and does not involve any exchange of real life money. It just gives people who dislike their toons the chance to swap with someone. I understand I will receive some backlash here but I thought I would depart with this final request.
Message Edited by Kingman on 12-10-2005 01:21 AM

I hope it -always- remains against the EULA for any buying, selling, trading, whatever of in-game items including characters and "time spent to blah". If you want to sell an account or character or whatever within the rules, transfer to an Exchange server.

Yeah I really don't see something like that being realistic. If you're that unhappy yet still wanting to play, that's the purpose of having more than one character slot available. Roll an alt.

ok.I don't see it as simple as rolling an alt, at least not in this game. At sub 50 levels EQ2 almost deprives it of the right to be called a MMO. The old land is blossoming with ghosts and empty space.Further, rolling an alt for post 50s means forgetting about raiding for some time, and pretty much not getting a chance to hang out with the majority of your guild.

Finally, I did not say selling should be an option. Selling has much larger implications than a once off toon-trade between existing players on a server.

You can't unbalance class populations using this approach, unlike the SWG approach where they let everyone pick a new class post CU.
I will admit however that a trading option may make the current population issue even more apparent pre-50. Anyhow as Angel pointed out, it will most likely never happen so you don't have to fret

Message Edited by Kingman on 12-10-2005 11:41 AM

if youve already leveled a toon passed 50 you will find that leveling another toon is far easier. My alt went from 6 to 36 in a week and a half and to 50 in a bit more then 5 weeks, that was soloing most of the time. If you get one or two high level buddies to help you it will go even faster. I dont think that trading characters is a good thing. For one it will make the selling of characters easier as they can be removed from an existing account and added to your own. I also think that this removes a lot of the fun and learning of the class.
