Rangers in my guild are also wondering if quivers are incoming. I have read posts on this board from players saying they're working. Are they coming with LU16?

Anyone on test have any word on this?

My guildie says the quiver I made for her(before they removed the recipe) is working. However as of last night after the big patch, the quiver recipe wasn't showing up in my recipe book. I'll check again tonight to see if I can make more and pass it around.

I was just wondering this myself, and I was going to post the same question. I am glad to hear that it most likely be in the LU16.

Since I don't play a char that would use a quiver, I can not say for sure where it would go. However, all through EQ1 the quiver had to be placed in a bag slot, it would not go in the ammo slot. Basically, you placed 1 arrow in your ammo slot, then the quiver with your remaining arrows in it went into your bag slot. So I imagine that is how they would do it again.

Message Edited by Terabethia on 11-07-2005 06:19 AM

It would be much better for ranged type folks if the quiver went into the ammo slot and tons of arrows went into the quiver.

There isn't much of a bonus for having quivers as a bag other than you don't have to add more arrows every 99 shots.

That seems like a minor change if that is all the quivers do.

Another question for the pool, will there be Pouches/Satchels/Bandoliers/Sheats that functions similar to Quivers?

ddazzle wrote:I have an even better questionWill the quivers be taking up a bag slot or go into the ammo slotPlease say ammo slot

From what I understand it is the ammo slot. This was supposed to go in an earlier update and they where having problems with this because of putting it in the ammo slot that is why it is taking them longer to get done.

If the quivers have stats will they extend the placement of symbols etc to the ammo slot for classes that dont use ranged weapons?

IMO there's not need for AMMO bags like quivers to have stats. Nothing you put in the ammo slot has stats now, why should the bag you put it in?

Ok, hopefully this will clear up some confusion.- 2 new containers have been added, they are quivers and sacks. Quivers are for arrows, sacks for the other throwable stuff. Except for this flavor distinction, they appear to be exactly the same.- tailors make them. (bag recipe - hide plate, cord, buckle)- they have no stats.- they are not attuneable, so you're free to use and reuse and pass them down to lower levels, much like bags and boxes- they are NOT class restricted. As a warden, I was able to equip both in my ammo slot. I did not check to see if I could put any arrows in them while equipped though, in case I want to carry extra ammo for groupmates.- both are available in every tier(I checked tier2 - tier4)- rare versions are also available, provided you have a rare pelt. Rare versions have more slots than their normal counterparts. All this is subject to change of course, as this is info from test.
