Otherwise I'll never use it. I replicated my current characters the best I could and when seeing the current SOGA counterpart, it made me nauseated. I could se subtle differences being okay, but my cute gnome tured into a hook nosed beehive topped spawn of a troll and ogre with SOGA enabled. I cried. Even before BJ did. <div></div>
As has already been stated, yes, you will be able to re-customize your character, and save differing customizations for both SOGA and regular. <div></div>

<DIV>I don't think they will let you re-customize your current regular model, just the SOGA version of it.</DIV>
That's not what they've been saying, however. <div></div>

Thanks Magus, I'm a returning player, and scanning through the countless threads on the subject didnt initially answer my question. <div></div>

-eventually- (but no assurance of when they go Live) you will be able to have 2 customisation files, one for SOGA and one for current. There is also absolutely no guarentee the ability to change current models in game will go Live with SOGA, too. But.... even though you will have the ability to have 2 configurations, the SOGA options are -far- fewer and there are many many many looks which have nothing even close in the SOGA. The huge hooked nose for the gnome female is one of the static things that can't be changed. Gnomes (at least the females) can't have red hair. The SOGA models will have the heroine addict thin-ness, even thin halflings and dwarves. YOU can chose not to have SOGA on your screen, but you will have almost no control over how anyone else sees your character. <div></div>
