Please stop dumbing down the game for every whining newbie that does not want to put forth the time or energy to earn something difficult. It has taken me a year almost to finally buy one and then you drop the price. WHY do you do this?! Can there be some seperation from the high end raid guilds and the people that play an hour a week or buy their toons from e-bay. If you do keep this change ALL money should be refunded as well as status. Currently you can sell them back for 41pp 66gold and all your status. So basically after ruining the patron / status point system by making it ultra easy ( after we grinded writs for months to get to 30) And now you are going to drop the reward price of the 2 nicest mounts in the game so that no one has to put forth any effort to get one. And to those that worked so hard and put in so much time you can lose twice the amount of money they already paid in resale as the new mount costs. WHY do you constantly kick the people in the privates who put forth the most time and effort into your game. Please stop candy coating everything it absolutely ruins the game. At this rate why dont you make all fabled gear available for 1 copper each off venders. That way no one will ever have to group or raid. Also while you are at it why dont you make it so all you have to do is any quest or kill any mob and be instantly level 60. That way everyone can have the same things and no one will ever have to put any effort into anything. Edit: This isn't a rant board. What really sucks about this is, I paid 60 pp for my carpet, and I bet sellback price will not be anything near it. I do not mind so much if people can all get them easy, but I should be able to get a full refund of 60 pp for my carpet. It took me weeks of hardcore farming to get that much money.

I totally agree. You would think that SOE would know this. It is such a funadamental aspect of the game. They are going to lose bigtime if they try to turn this game into a "casual player" game. I suspect they think they can change it and compete with WoW which is a casual gamer game. It is foolish. This game should fill the hardcore arena of games. What is going to happen is another game will fill that segment and then SOE will have nothing. They should be happy with what they have as a player base because they are dangerously close to losing that. This is the first time in a year that I have started to look around at a new game.. H

I would like to chime in to say no MMO on the market is difficult - to a certain point it becomes a grind, so you cannot really dumb it down. The more you play the more rewards you reap. I'm sure you will be content when they release a guild level 40 status mount which would prob cost 1XXpp 'in the future', and when the next expansion hits they will reduce it again.
