<DIV>I see that you raised the stats on the first stat listed.. good job...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I see that you didnt modify the stats on the 2nd stat .. still just 1 higher than t5 .. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I see that you lowered the health / power stats .. some t5 stuff is higher .. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I see that you lowered the resistances on the armor also ... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>AND I pray you didnt push this to Live without testing it ....</DIV>
It's the thought that counts. Someone please tell me it's the thought that counts?

<DIV>There are a few screenshots in the Armorer Subclass forum, and what the OP has said is true.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>t6 armor should be better in every respect than it's t5 counter part.</DIV>

<P>Its even more fun when you mentor. Because T6 is not correctly scaled up from T5 (both have a combined total of 68 hp+power), So a T5 Legendary Leather cap with 34hp/34power gives 21/21 when mentoring to 25, However the T6 Legendary Leather gives 17/17 when mentoring a level 25.</P> <P>To work correctly when mentoring the HP/Power needs to be increased to 42/42 on each item.</P> <P>Legendary T6 jewery items, and weapons have a combined total of 84 hp/power on each piece, so I dont know why the armors are not scaled up correctly.</P>
<DIV> <DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#ffcc00>*** Tradeskills ***<BR><BR></FONT></STRONG>- Level 50+ crafted armor now has improved mitigation, <FONT color=#ff0066>stat bonuses, and resists</FONT>. This applies to both Handcrafted and Legendary varieties.<BR></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>hmmm.. well if what the OP says is true (And I suspect it is), it would appear we were once again mislead. Why in the frig can't they get it right the first time? They say we are getting an increase but yet we get a nerf? You Dev's really need to focus. What the heck are you all doing there? Put the Bong down and get some help.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How can you say one thing and then do the opposite?? </DIV></DIV><p>Message Edited by Trook on <span class=date_text>10-21-2005</span> <span class=time_text>07:37 AM</span>

It seems like they increased the primary stats on T6 armor and left the secondary with a minor increase (acceptable IMHO). The power/health may need to be looked at, but the T6 jewelry health/mana boost well make up for this given they're well above T5 jewelry. Resists look well upgraded as well (225 on ebon, 300 on cobalt). It makes good sense to me. What exactly are your expectations of T6 armor?</P> <P>-Aeg</P>

<DIV>at the time of the posts, the "updates" hadnt gone in, so there was no improvements.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They have since corrected this, and only issue remaining is the sub par Power / Health (imo)</DIV>

<DIV>Aye, the original post was made well before the stats were fixed. However currently t6 cobalt only gives 35power and 35health. Still a tad low.</DIV>

<P>Can't believe they did this to t6 armor.. what QA process do they use to ensure things like this dont happen? </P> <P>Also, they need to make the mitigation on crafted armor scale up again as you level so your max mitigation is at 60 (for t6 lets say). With the current new mitigation system for armor, at lvl 58 in full Cobalt Vanguard, fighting lvl 58 mobs, I will have my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] handed to me or so it would seem.. </P> <P>Why on earth woud they give one set amount of mitigation with no scaling up? Anyone?</P>

But some mage robes give STR and mage don't need STR, so I guess there is a reason for it... </DIV>

Actually, with the combat revamp, that is no longer correct. Paladins for example do need intelligence, a lot of their damage abilities are 'spells' and based off their int rather than their strength. While not nearly as important, Ive lost count of how many times my conjuror has wished he had a little more strength. A few hours of hunting and he's overloaded. Wisdom is now important to all classes, since it affects resists... Sure, not all stats are equally important, but most have some importance to most classes. My big beef is that the T6 legendary leather armor and buckler has very very little wisdom, a real slap in the face to druids. <p></p>

<P>The t6 Ironwood Buckler doesn't have Wis at all (a departure from previous tiers). I now have to use a Pearl Orb or Tome.</P>

Umm, Shadow Knights need intelligence and last I checked they were fighters. Just because SOME classes of an armor type need intelligence doesn't mean that all don't. <P></P>

A couple of the VLA items still have problems. Cambric mitts and Producer mitts have the exact same stats. I think the other was the shoulders... <P></P>
