Ok, let me start out by saying that I really do enjoy playing EQ2 and that I am not complaining really, just putting some ideas out there that I think would really enhance game play. I am a casual player so forgive me is anything

1) Lets have some random GM events. It would add some excitement and a real change of pace from the normal game play.

2) Appearance: We really do need to be able to differentiate how we look. Adding changeable clothing/armor dyes would go a long way towards making people feel that their character is unique.

3) Make guards inside the cities killable, not for exp or loot, but killing them would give you status in your city. Adding another title tree would help with this. You would start as a citizen and get quests to kill certain guards (depending on your level) for city status. The quests would not be repeatable and you would work your way to a cool title such as Hero of Qeynos or something similar.

4) Illusionists and coercers should be able to stun, mez epic encounters. This would give them a nice niche. (No, I do not player either type)

5) Random double exp days. Would be real nice for the holidays (hint hint)

6) In addition to dyes, armor/clothes should look different depending on what class you are. A robe on a necro should not look the same as one for a conjurer.

7) You really need to be able to use boxes in the guild bank.

Public listings for duel records. And while we are at it please have some GM run duels. Maybe even a battle royal with the last man standing the winner.

9) Bring back the color coding at least for the vendor. It makes prioritizing which spells/gear to buy so much easier.

10) High end class and or race armor, weapon or spell quest depending on what character you play. Make these really freaking hard to keep the highend/hardcore gamers busy with challenging quests. (Not there yet either)

11) Scalable guild raids for the smaller guilds. You don’t know how much it sucks knowing that because you are a small guild that so much will not be available to you. Just scale down the treasure so we can also experience a raid.

Just some ideas… anyone like?

7) Level up your guild if you want more guild bank slots 9) People need to realize that the old color con system DOES NOT APPLY to the new con rules. Orange armor only meant something back when armor scaled as you levelled up. IT DOES NOT anymore. As such, there is no point at all of labelling armor orange anymore, it would be identical to white armor.

A simpler fix would be to give us the ability to add boxes. I have posted and I know others have as well that the slots just are not enough. Most guilds had at least one char just to be the guild mule and each slot that char had held a 24 count box. In some cases even on their person held 24 count boxes. I actually read, and I wish I could find it, a post from a dev that said the lack of boxes was not intentional but it was not a priority fix.
1) There's one coming up. GM events require work 2) There's a fajillion posts on this 3) just...no. 4) This would trivialize epic encounters in the case of mezzing. stifles weren't enchanter only, but so many were angry when they made it so you couldn't stifle them anymore 5) They do this sometimes when they really screw up. frankly, exp moves at a decent rate in this game IMO 6) This makes no sense. if an enchanter and necro are wearing the same robe, they're wearing the same robe. HOWEVER, race and gender SHOULD play a part in armor appearance (EQ1 was spectacular at this...pumpkin ogres!) 7) see posts above better solution would be to add battlemasters like in WoW (i know this isn't WoW but it's still a good idea) that TP you to the arena. few people are willing to trod all the way to maj'dul just to fight in the arena. Also add FFA battles rather than just teams. GM run duels would be a waste of time, i mean, GMs have so many form letters to copy and paste! 9) Spells only, gear doesn't matter too much 10) You want epic quests. The prismatic falls under this terminology, but as of yet there is no race specific ANYTHING and i doubt there ever will be 11) These exist. They've always existed. Talk to the guy the writ people you've passed send you to.

1) yes GM events do require work but they are worth it. I think it gives the gamers a feeling that SOE cares more about them then what $ gets paid each month and it gives a break to people that feel that they are just grinding through levels 2) Many posts do not make it any less true 3) Why not? 4) Then let them have their stifle and not the mezz for the epics 5) Again... would be a nice show of appreciation for the people playing the game. Christmas would be a great time to have 2 days of double exp for those playing onthe 24th and 25th. 6) Because you want an evil character to look evil. Why would the Dark Lord of the Undead put on the same looking robe as Flippy the memerizing master??? No.. it may give the same benefits but it would never look the same. 7) glad to see it will be fixed... just hoping that it happens sooner than later (yes I am greedy Yes.. the TP to the battle would be a better way to go about it... and I do want FFA battles 9) agreed 10) race specific epic quests wouldn't be needed and I think to hard to accomplish given that each race has far too many class choices for this to be realistic...but I think CLASS specific ones would be easier to put in game and a nice touch. 11) sweet... I will be going to look the next time I get a chance to go online...ty

9.) I like the new gear system better. You only have to examine the item to see to whom it applys and what level he could start wearing it. Then it requires some common sense to realize that a cuirass that is 10 levels below you does not offer the protection you want. No, this system should have been implemented earlier.

Other than that, I like most of your suggestions. Especially the apperance issues in 2.) and 6.)

However, instead of changing apperance of a robe to fit different classes, it should exist different robes for different classes. And more variation of the armor, but that has been said since the beginning.

I would really like it, to enchance apperances, if you could change your hair and some of your features. For me, I like to get a haircut now that I've gotten a little bored of the hairdo I got. And I would like to change my shroud-pattern (the one woodelves got) so I would appreciate a plastic surgeon! Hehe.
