<P>I'd like to see some REAL live events not just stupid Goblin Lottery... </P> <P>Bringing seasons to the game, fashion clothes stores (not just armor!), some events in the cities (like day of the city with fireworks when all the citizens can gather together on the main square and celebrate)...</P> <P>I hope they will bring something really interesting and spectacular to the anniversary of the game release...</P> <P> </P>

<P>1. make it possible to change our tradeskill class, like if im an outfitter and i want to change to a scholar. perhaps do a quest thing like the betrayal one.</P> <P>2. more double/triple exp bonus days.</P> <P>3. mounts for people with little pocket change. maybe 50s-1g ponies that are alittle slower than the regular ones.</P> <P>4. more tradeskill recipies, ts bug fixes, etc..</P> <P>5. make it possible to change our hairstyle.</P> <P>6. more gryphon stations, and some in thundering steppes.</P> <P>7. more bug fixing :smileywink:</P>

<P>Well ok, here goes.</P> <P>1. Rings for RP'ers donating fo the character is engaged or married (no stats) on an extra finger slot. Along with wedding clothing.</P> <P>2. Ships Actually being built on the Ways in the harbors.</P> <P>2. Ships That actually come into port.</P> <P>3. ALL Handcrafted armors of ALL tiers with more mitigation than the preceeding tier's rare, IE Steel having more mitigation than Feyiron, Feysteel having more than Fulginate, Ebon having more than Indium, this was done by allowing the character to advance in the tier of armor that he or she was in, there by the Mitigation was improved as Leveling went by, This Needs to Return, because NOT every player has money time or resources to go Legendary Equipment. This is Supposed to be a game for the more Casual Player, (At least this is how it was advertised), NOT a game of Twinks. IMO it appears that the LU#13 Update was based on Legendary Equipment (along with at least Adept3 Spells)as a Baseline rather than the Handrafted, which pretty much puts Tailors, Weaponsmiths and Armor Smiths leveling in TS so that they can make custem orders, IE Steel, Feysteel, Ebon, Cobolt and to Imbue said custem orders. BTW adding just a stat point to the exsisting stats of both Indium and Cobolt over the Fulginate and Ebon Armor respectivly doesnt really fall into line of how the stats are increased on the other armor Tier's stats. Also why is it that Rubicite Tier 5 Treasure drops have better Mitigation than the Tier 6 Treasure drops? Not only that, but better Mitigation than Tier 6 handcrafted at that, Rubicite can be worn much eariler than Indium and has better Mitigation and in some cases better stats. So why buy the T6 Handcrafted which as near as I can figure out ..has a 400% cost over T5 in fuel costs. Why buy the Inidum handcrafted armors when Rubicte treasure drops are superiour?</P> <P>4. More to follow later.</P> <P> </P> <P>Stormson</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Stability and bug fixes. A hold on new content for just one month while effort is placed in getting the game to where it should be in terms of crafting, re-balancing the 700+ unique mobs, fixing the last of the class issues and bugs, testing heal stacking etc etc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mirdo.</DIV>

<P>I really like a lot of these ideas.</P> <P>1. Not all the time, but throw out double xp days once in awhile. Not once a year, but try a couple times a month. Announce it the day before. I know it will upset some people but I am willing to bet each day of double xp you will see the number of people playing that day double.</P> <P>2. I liked the idea about the boats actually being built and some coming and going in the harbors.</P> <P>3. Fix the broker window.-Cant search on Food by level, I have to examine food, page after page until I find stuff I can use. Sometimes if the window is accidentally closed it will not allow you to search again till you zone out and then back.</P> <P>LOL-It is funny, how I have all kinds of ideas when playing but in the morning at work I can't seem to think of anything.</P> <P> </P>

- fix coercer charm - add a 'back to hometown' bell in nektulos and thundering steppes. (boats from the cities are one way trip, i fail to see any logic in this and it's not appropriate now that Sinking sand is reachable only through towns harbor) (that shouldn't take long to set) - allow us to see through our characters when the third person camera is behind theyr neck and a big part of our screen is taken by their head. - Push back the invisible walls to more appropriate/'logical' locations especially in everfrost in the wolf, sheep, lizard, maiden area. (sometimes we see mobs we can't select because the 'walls' get to much 'in' the zone and we see 'through' them. I can't understand why i can't walk on those slops even if i slide (remember some ever1 area)) - Fix the ability of the mobs to hide in the walls/ceiling/floors. - Fix the range of mobs group spells (I don't know if it's one mob spell or a large variety of it, anyway it's funny to see my dopple cross half rivervale to go assist my group near the river when i'm at the entrance of the zone) - Finish to list/tag quests as solo/heroic/epic. - Rewrite most of the kill 3x(3x10 mobs) book quests or at least make the targeted mobs available in bigger numbers (look at the hillcat prowlers in zek for exemple : pop time one hour? 4 each time? 7,5 hours of camp to avoid that someone take them before you (or 30 min using incomplete group repop exploit) It's even worst in Rivervale) - Change the 'robe of the invoker' quest starter (2 days +/- my grandma's shoe size repop time!!! Hard? no! Boring, hardcore gamer oriented? yes!! I hope it's not the 'Ever1 feeling' that was intended) - ... (enough for today) <div></div>

<P>1) Implement the change in Con levels that was alluded to by Moorgard a few weeks ago .. at lvl 53, my blue range is 4 and my green range is 6 on top of that, meaning lvl 43-52 NPCs are all agro... no reason for anything below 45 to hate me... if they are challenging enough to be green to me at 53, then they are way overpowered for anyone level 44-50 to handle, making them deadlier than they should be for the players who use them (and want them) for the experience .. I had my time fighting those levels and zones for experience .. I have moved on from those and would appreciate it if under-45 NPC populace would get over their hatred for the way I abused them all these many months when I actually had a reason to.</P> <P>2) Look at number 1, please.</P>

<div></div> - Code 'Escape' abilities so that it breaks encounters. (I was killing guards in Maj'Dul when a Shiar attacked us. We escaped succesfully. The Shiar escaped with us (or so it seemed) and killed the 2 survivors at Maj'Dul gate. Is that intendeed?) - Give more illusions to illusionists and make them effective from a faction point of view. it's always weird to see Qeynos guards /salute a gnoll. I really don't think they could be viewed as our fun spells, they are part of our class not a 'fun' plus. We're the only one that can't change in something strange/funny (unless you consider our gnoll illus that way, then say so). - .... <P>I would like to see all of the broken quests fixed. I have at least two that I can't complete because either the item doesn't allow me to finish or an NPC never shows up. The two that I'm talking about are the Hundred Fold Blade and the Summoning. Another thing that occured to me that fits along these lines is the L&L for Giants. I have yet to get the spirit I need from any Giant I kill. Its the only part I'm missing. </P> <P> </P> <P>I'm sure there are a lot of other quests that could use this kind of attention. </P> <P> </P> <P>My $2.50.</P>

<P>Was going to add the need to put quest-starter for Efreeti Lore and Legend in game then happened upon OGaming and see it is supposedly now in-game ... but wondering why the trigger is in Lavastorm and NOT in Solusek Eye.</P> <P>If it is indeed now in game, thank you ... dont recall it ever being mentioned in Updates notes in recent weeks, but thank you just the same.</P>

The ability for each account to be able to contribute to the upkeep of the house. </LI> <LI><STRONG>Raid Window </STRONG>We need to be able to move people around in the groups of the raid more easily like they added to EQ1. Also the ability to assign specific people as looters in raids, not just group leaders or raid leader.</LI> <LI><STRONG>Raid Buffs </STRONG>We need to have group buffs to extend to the full raid. </LI> <LI><STRONG>Armor Variety</STRONG> We need more variety and updates to armor including the ability to customize the look with dyes etc.</LI> <LI><STRONG>Boxes in Guild Bank Slots</STRONG> We need the ability to use boxes in the guild bank in order to expand the size of the bank. TS items and harvested items alone can fill a bank. </LI> <LI><STRONG>Epic Mobs </STRONG>They need to be toned down a bit in difficulty. Since LU#13 they were cranked too high. To have two full groups of level 30's barely beat the boss in BSV for the Return of the Light Quest is ridiculous. It was too easy before, too hard now. </LI> <LI><STRONG>Dump to Text Files </STRONG>We need to be able to dump event logs and bank logs to a text file so we can use them in our websites. </LI> <LI><STRONG>Larger Housing in the outskirts</STRONG>  such as Nettleville Hovel, Starcrest etc.</LI> <LI><STRONG>Guild level 35 to 40 rewards</STRONG></LI> <LI><STRONG>More heritage quests</STRONG> We need more quests to earn guild status<STRONG>.</STRONG></LI></OL>

1. You now have the option to choose the difficulty of raid encounters.So many times we get close or maybe we defeat the encounter once or twice. Then the difficulty is adjusted becuase some guild has done it 30 times. Now they are fabled and then complain because the encounter is too easy. This way you can farm the gear you need to progress to the next level. Make it no drop if it has to be.

<DIV>A fix for the technical issue started and caused by the September 29th Patch where my monitor keeps powering down while I play EQ. This is a technical issue that was *CAUSED* by that patch, and it's still happening whenever I log into EQ. This isn't a problem on my end. It's a problem caused by them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>More monk armor. none of this +Wisdom or +intellegence leather armor bullcrap from deserts of Flames. There's barely any leather armor there anyway, and it *ALL* caters to the druids with Wisdom. I've even found leather armor with Intellegence on it of all things. Nothing for monks though.</DIV>

Although some of the things in this thread are clearly just gripey, most are <i>very</i> good ideas, even if they are much longer-term than just LU #15. For my part, the only feasible next-update change I want is for poisons to survive player death.  To compensate, and keep alchemists in business, they can be reduced to 6 hours (8 for Legendary poisons?) rather than 12.  If they could do it with food and drink (the best of which lasts just over five hours), there's no reason not to do it with poisons. Oh, and now I remember the other thing I want: T6 guild writs.  I actually like grinding by doing writs, but I've absolutely had it with the glacier bears, Kromise hermits, and mammoth calves in Everfrost.  Plus they're already going green and grey can't be far behind.  It's time for something new to kill, really. Long term things -- armor changes and sweeping tradeskill changes and some others -- are things I think most of us would like to see, but many of those don't seem feasible for an LU #15.  Maybe for a #16 or #17, though.  But really, T6 guild writs and poisons surviving death.  Those two little things would make my life a whole lot easier. <div></div>

I know my comp isn't a dual core and my graphic card isn't SLI but it's still strange that i could cross qeynos harbor with 10 to 15 fps and that it fall to 4 to 8 when i'm in rivervale .... I also forgot to ask for this : - Do something so that Duration of spell is seen on every examine screen. Actually we can't see the duration on non-scribed spells. As this is sometimes the only aspect of a spell that is affected by quality, it is necessary when you buy an upgrade (from app 1 to app4, adept3 or master1) to avoid buying things blindly. - more to come ... <div></div>

Make Monks look like MONKS not furys etc.  Should have at least an option where once u attune it actually molds on your body and becomes monk look alike instead of being so generic.  I mean every other class looks like they're supposed to Paladins, Wizards, Scouts except the monks and bruisers..... we just look like a copy cat of whatever class we're sharing the outfit with.  If we wear a robe than we're look like a wizard and if we wear leather we look like a fury.  At least give us some new looking armor that is class specific.  I know there is Gi's out there think it's a total of 4-5 for over 60 lvls range.  I don't care you can make the AQ look white, the lvl 30 blood something Gi look Brown or Red, and the T5-T6 Gi make them look Black or Green or Blue or something that at least looks different than everyone else.  I want people to say oh wow there is a monk there and be able to tell right away by the armor. Sorry just venting a little bit, but it has been over 1 Year and there has been no change in this area.  I don't mind any of the changes done so far to combat and so on ... it just makes it more challenging .. but at least make us look different ... i don't it's so much to ask. 1) Actually balance fighter classes. If all tanks should tank the same then all tanks should be able to solo the same mob in the same amount of time with the same amount of power and life left at the end. Otherwise there is no balance. If that is not your goal then you should not say fighters are all balaced. 2) Remove the heroics from the hallway into LS. Many people have seen nothing but the LS beach 3) Add more solo instanced zones. Lets face it you can't always find a group and grinding blue mobs next to the zone in is not rewarding gameplay. 4) Fix the bug in nek where it looks like you are running off the end of the world right before you reach the ascent. <div></div>

Wood textures now match across the tier and type of funiture! Some items have changed tier or names so that they match. All rare crafter funiture now is unique and representative of the best Norrath has to offer! Yes no more ugly junk, wasting your precious rares!! I can see no reason for a huge barbarian and a gnome to have armor and or clothing that looks 95% the same on both races. The looks, while coloring would be the same ( providing that there is no dye ) because the metal (lets say carbonite) is the same color, the Racial look Should be different IE EQ1. Different races having different engravings or etchings upon said armor and clothing.</P> <P>3. Why does a a single bar of metal Tiers 2-5, make a piece of Plate or Sheet for the making of armor and furniture. Yet that same bar can only make One Stud? At the very least is should make (like Roots of any tier can make up to 4 washes, etc etc etc) 4 Studs, or if you prefer.  The rare metals after your done has Ingots, when your done making a rare bar. Have the same for the  standard metals, make Ingots and have those Ingots made into Studs. But the thought of a whole bar making one stud is silly.</P> <P>4. Something i expect to never see, but would love../respec class. Lowers your Adventure lvl to 3 again so you can pick a new archtype, or even 9 so you can pick a new subclass. I made a guardian way way way back in November, started leveling her as a provisioner, tried the guardian, didnt like it that much. I know i could delete and start over, but would you delete a 53 provisioner? I have 10 toons already, just a simple reset would be great. Again, something i never expect to see, but.. <div></div>

I strongly agree with number 2.  </P> <P>The reason for all the ^ ^ ^ Heroics and the fact that you can no longer let a mob beat on you while you are harvesting was to get rid of Botters.. Yes, you heard me right. MG even stated that was a reason for this. Ofcourse he tried to justify it with something like "It also gives folks a chance to kill more mobs now for exp and loot.</P> <P> Hah!! Gimme a break..  Fact is who would hunt a green mob? what ever exp/loot you get is pretty much meaningless when you are 8 levels above the mob. Myself and my Templar Wife use to Duo almost 100% of the time. After LU 13, that stopped. Our quests we had started came to a standstill. </P> <P>Just  get the aggro range back to 5 levels vice 10.  I can live with the ^ ^ ^ Heroics if the aggro range is 5 levels -or- just make the ^^^ mobs non aggro. </P>

I agree with getting rid of the no-trade items. In fact I'd like to see everything tradeable, from language totems right up to rewards you get from factions - but to keep the rare items  really rare (e.g. faction or status), make it so the item is "awarded" to the character when it is bought and that's it, you only get the one item. Remove the Lore tag from items too. <div></div>

1. Fix Raids 2. Improve raid loot - a couple of adepts and an advanced jewelcraft 42 doesn't cut it for 2 hours of 24 peoples time, this stuff shouldn't be dropping off raid mobs 3. Better robe graphics - they are all using the same model, so a better variety of 'skins' for them 4. More quests like damsel in distress that open up long quests lines - this quest line is great and gives rewards other than coin/items (access to teh peacock club, although the benefits of this are dubious at the moment) <div></div>

I would like to see them stealth in quests.For instance, if you chat to a misc wandering NPC in North Qeynos while you're X level, you get a quest.  I think it would be really cool if there were a greater amount of quests no one knows exist.<div></div>

I have all these spells in my spellbook that are useless.  How about spells damage/effects increasing with your level.  I understand these are usefull when mentoring but who mentors?  Right now I have a book full of spells I can't even use.

<P>No bows for crusaders, we never should have been able to use them in EQ1 either imo. Its not the "Knight" way. We have spells which more than make up for our lack of a ranged weapon.</P> <P>HOWEVER, we definately need an Item in the slot, an idol, or something. This would make up for the stats we lose out on and is especially important now every stat is important to a crusader, unlike quite a few other classes. We need Agility for avoidance, Strength for damage and power pool, wisdom for resists and power pool, Intelligence for spell damage, Stamina to take the hits. I am personally disgusted this wasnt incorporated into live update #13 we have waited long enough</P>

Bring back the sleepless nights and the Lore of EQ1.  Make me want to play for 5 more years. I want a chanter to be charming. I want to see Druids kiting.   I want Monks to pull. I want to see Wizards all alone soloing. I want to see the blur of a Bard flying by. I want  rogues to posting there dps in chat, bragging every 10 secs about how uber they are. I want to see Sk's constantly trying to duel you.  I want to see Pallys wishing they could be like SK's. I want to hear Magicians on COTH duty [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing. I want Necros reverse kiting.  I want Shaman out slowing chanters by 5 percent. I want Rangers AFK with some funky device hitting there range attack button. I want Beastlords to be  everyclass. I want Warriors to be LFG. Most of all I want something to do .. AA's.  AA's for me was the reason I stayed in eq1 so long. Always developing the character, always making my toon more powerful, never just raiding. its my opinion. I miss the crack.  I am sticking with ya sony make me proud.

<DIV>Please create more overland zones that connect to each though invisible zone lines.  A long time Everquest 1 player here that really misses the lanscape and the seamless connections of zones...i.e. the run from Iceclad to Thurgadin!  How exhilirating that was.  The mariner bells provide a means of quick travel and should remain in game but somehow allow those of us who like to travel enjoy the geographical arrangement of the game.  It really is lost in this game.  I used to be able to draw a map of the continents in Everquest 1 but now I could barely draw a map of a city with it's connecting zones.</DIV>

<DIV>Remove the lockout timers on certain zones or at minimum don't implement the lockout unless X number of boss mobs are killed.  Entering a zone with a lockout time period with a group that dies to entrance bugs (because of stupidity, afk's, etc) shouldn't prevent me from going into that zone again for 3 hours, 18 hours, or 5 DAYS....jeez...unless we killed the boss mob (Understanding of the intent to prevent farming)</DIV>

So to give these poor slobs a chance at soloing or doing anything other then spend hours and hours going Lfg..  Lfg..
