If you actually explained your position better than his quote you might get more support - but "rock, paper, scissors" for which tank is ideal in a given situation is a sensible method of making sure that ALL tank classes are useful in their primary function.

<P>Well I believe many.. wait let me trump your imagined uinformed adjective with my own... most players disagree that the game is ruined.  In my guild a couple guardians and a couple templars have quit. No other class did out of 100 members. That tells me they were the type that only wanted to be the best and couldnt settle for being even.</P>

On my server level 10 <EM>adept 1's</EM> are going for 5-10 gold, level 30-40 ones are in the 20-40 gold range depending on utility and adept 3's above 20 don't go for less than a plat in general. My berserker is level 36 and has 15 gold to her name after buying adept 1's for her major CA's and settling for app4's on her less used ones. I tried making some tradeskill alts to offset the cost, but the rare TS tomes for making adept 3's are going for 40 gold + as well, and I'm talking about the ones under level 20. I suppose I could stop regular experience on one of those toons and farm tier 1 and 2 zones for several weeks until one drops. Yeah that would be my idea of fun.</P> <P>But as the previous poster said, the game will be better without you and all of the people like you, when they merge servers and have less available staff to fix bugs and develop new expansions because of reduced revenues, the game will be much better, so go and take all of those whiners with you.</P> <P>It's a game people. I have mostly adjusted to the changes and adapted my playstyle. While I'm not happy with the reduced effectiveness of my toons, I've learned to live with it. Others are not willing to make that sacrifice after vesting nearly a year into a toon to log in one day and have it be a shadow of it's former self. If I didn't have some RL friends in the game, I'd probably have left too. The good riddance attitude and the vitriol aimed at people who want to play the game but feel like thier class has been castrated does nothing but make them want to leave more. If enough people leave, the servers merge, if the servers merge, they might lay off developers, which means what? You dont get those shiny new expansions as often and you dont get bugs you think are important fixed. So quit being a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot].</P>
