Moorgard mentioned that imbued items for tier 6 would make their way in the next live update, however, the notes tell a different story. Any word on when event will take place? Thank you for your time.

Just an assumption, but the current newest LU patch for Test is LU14a --A--. My guess would be that A implies their will be a B and maybe more. I would venture to say that if he said it was coming and since it isn't in 14a, that it will be in one of the subsequent patches thereafter.

Patience is a virtue...Why is it a virtue? Because no one has it!

You may still get your wish, 14 hasn't made it to live yet!

It depends on how testing goes, I would assume.

But of course if we had it on test, then we could test it..wait..that makes too much sense...nvm

well .. since I am mostly retired from Armorsmithing .. doubt the armor imbues will be tested

But then again ...why should they be tested, thats what live is for apparently..

Test server is not used as a test bed, its not even used as a feedback bed .. its actually ignored, and used as a server to facilitate the "Promotions" of various QA/DEV personell.

Feldman's promotion should be coming down the pipe by mid October..

Message Edited by Heiro on 09-26-2005 04:50 PM

Still no word when this will go live? Imbued items are very important to the community now. Holding them back is holding people back. Was that the intention?

I have not found a single mention of this anywhere.

Has anyone seen on test or elsewhere what the status of T6 imbuing is?

I have 2 cobalt clusters and 2 Lambent Stones waiting...for a month now...

there is no imbuing in T6 on Test right now. of course not that I care since they can't be bothered to fix my prov recipes for T6.

They are probly working on all the Tradeskill Fixes for all of T6 stuff at the same time and will likly release it all as part of TU14b (Test Update 14b) as it should not be called Live Update until it accually goes live.

We are just guessing....

Any reason not to know?

Surely SOE has some clue about when they plan to fix this...

Moorgard said here that imbues are coming in LU 14. Since Test is on 14a, we're hoping y'all will see them before we do out in Live. And test them, lol.

http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=6&message.id=21374

Will people who already bought rare chest pieces and pants get those items un attatuned so they can have them imbuded?

I agree, thank you very much for posting this updated information. I'm getting over 50 tells a day from people asking when imbue recipes will be in game. It seems like 98% of players in EQ2 are holding off getting ANY cobalt weapon, bp/leg armor, or other imbueable item made until the imbue recipes are in. I'd much rather have a candid answer like this one, with information that the imbue recipes won't be in until next week, than continue to be left in the dark camping my toon in the Golden Sceptre each night and logging on at 7 A.M. PST to see if the extract and imbue recipes have finally been added.

But I feel the need to say something else. After reading player responses to posts like this, I really understand why many SoE people are hesistant about posting on these boards at all. The OP posted a specific question here about when imbue recipes would finally be in game. This is a HUGE issue of importance to a very large percentage of all the crafters and other players in this game. Moorguard came here and was kind enough to post a real, useful answer based on the question asked by his thread.

Yet as soon as he posted, several people with an axe to grind or on a crusade about a specific, much narrower issue (e.g., making throwing weapons imbueable) felt the need YET AGAIN to use this thread and Moorguard's reply to grandstand about their personal issue. GOOD LORD, PEOPLE, I've read threads you've started about these same issues, and am tired of seeing your projectile tirade of reply posts and neverending knee-jerk responses to unrelated dev comments about your same issues. Do you really think harassing devs and chasing people like Moorguard all over the forums and repeating your same message in every post they make is the best way to achieve the results you seek? I realize your issue is important to you, BUT KINDLY GIVE IT A REST AND STOP SPAMMING UNRELATED POSTS WITH REPLIES ABOUT YOUR PERCIEVED BURNING NEEDS AND NARROW SELF INTERESTS. Think about how you would act if someone was doing this to you under the same circumstances. YOUR NEGATIVE EFFORTS are impeding the flow of information and discouraging SoE people from posting AT ALL.

Message Edited by Ixnay on 09-29-2005 08:54 AM

I have a question... Why was this news not posted by a Dev in the Crafting forums? Why did I have to troll all over the boards to find it? Yes, the classes want their imbued stuff, but we have to MAKE it for them.

Crafters as 2nd class citizens again.

Do you think getting on your high horse over people asking on a related subject, i.e imbuing of items that need imbuing now. As a swashbuckler I have a direct desire, but as a tailor I have as much a monetary desire as YOU do with the same concerns YOU have regarding t6 items). So, in a general feedback forum when imbuing changes come up it is very much a related topic. As far as I can tell, the only negativity here is you and your automattic attack of people who dont have your specific welfare in mind. Imbuing of t6 items is all well and good, and while they are at that, they should readdress what current and t6 equipment should be imbued that currently isn't, and since these forums (especially this feedback forum) is where we can interact with the developers to get some of our viewpoints out, it is going to keep coming up, and not just by me. But, if you want to continue your attacks and accusations of negativity lets take it to PM so we can let people get back on the track you derailed it from.
