<DIV>The Qeynos Harbor CRASH TO DESKTOP is still occuring when using the bells to enter QH after the 9-1-05 patch and we still have heard nothing of this from the devs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the workaround for this is still to turn all graphics and performance setting to the ablsolute minimum and log back in that character to get it out of Qeynos Harbor.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm having a hard time believing all the things the team has been posting about since the friday patch and still have no comment</DIV> <DIV>on a bug that crashes you to desktop that alot of people are experiencing. I seriously hope, with as many times as this has been</DIV> <DIV>posted on these forums and on the EQTEST forums, that this problem does not spill over to the live server because we will never</DIV> <DIV>hear the end of it.</DIV>

Unfortunately I zoned into QH before I read this msg on the board. Now my character is stuck in QH because Eq2 crashes everytime it attempts to load the zone. Changing all performance settings to the minimum setting doesn't work for me. I still crash everytime. <div></div>

I would like to say this happens A TON on the live servers while using Qeynos bells, and rarely while zoning into other areas ( I went to character select last night after zoning into Icebound). This is extremely frustrating because, as we all know, it could take your character up to five minutes to LOG OUT! /raid waits..../raid waits... This bug has become more like EQ2 AIDS if you ask me. <div></div>

This crash hit me this morning too. It appears to be a simple dereferencing of a null pointer, so it should be easy to fix, but it might be VERY difficult to track down. On my systen at least, it crashes at 0x7AE733. Paul 85c974bf8b01ffa068010000 <div></div>

<P>I also continue to get a crash to desktop, or message *Account is currently in use* after my Mage crashed while zoning into Q Harbor using the bells. I was able to create another character, play it a bit, and try different performance settings.. Still haven't been able to play the mage since last night tho.. =(</P> <P> </P> <P>Mabbie is negative Karma kicking in, since I was finally able to have Scholar refining 11, and advanced Apoth 1 drop Thursday afternoon.. /shrug. </P> <P> </P> <P>Thanks, </P> <P>Carroth Wizzy/ Sage </P> <P> </P>
<div></div>Ugh, I just got hit with this, as well. Playing my Priest, zoned in to QH from Eldaar Grove, attempting to get to the Mariner's Bell..crashed when I was about to get there. I was like, what the heck? Then, I remembered this post on the boards..this really sucks. Still waiting on my character to log out. Edit: Ugh. Lowering my video settings doesn't do a thing. All I wanna do is level my Priest! Come on Devs, you can fix this easily. <div></div><p>Message Edited by zexion on <span class=date_text>09-02-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:58 PM</span>

I have this happen to me, but I wasn't in QH. I was in scale yard, and was trying to enter my inn room. I didn't just 'ctd', it make my computer do a hard reboot. It happened to another character on the isle, twice. I was trying to enter Mizzan's cellar. I posted /bug reports, but it's still not fixed:smileymad: I can zone just fine, but trying to enter a room, or an instant zone, forget about it.:smileymad: It's very furstrating, and dangerous for me, because i can't afford a new computer now.
Well, I was able to log into my character, finally. I don't know what did it, though. I tried putting my all my settings at the minimum; didn't work. I got on my Necro and petitioned to have my character teleported out of the zone. After I did that, I tried logging into my Priest yet again, this time at my normal display settings, and it worked fine. <div></div>

<P>Thanks for the input.. I still am unable to log in to my mage tho..:smileymad: This is a very frustrating.. Have tried numerous low level graphics settings, windowed mode, full screen mode, char select screen, playing another character for a while, etc..</P> <P> </P> <P>This crash happens everytime when *loading entity resources* bar shows 30- 50% loaded. </P> <P>Going to try the petition command next.. Mabbie I can get transported out of zone.. =)</P>

This is bad <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />At first after the crash I wait till the message about a char being in the world stops popping up. After hitting play it stops at "Logging into zone server". Stays like that for some 20-30 seconds then loads itself back to char selection. Hitting play then, it loads somewhat and then crash to desktop again <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />Minimizing the EQ2 window helped <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><p>Message Edited by K3mik4l on <span class=date_text>09-05-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:36 PM</span>

<DIV>I'm glad to see I'm not the only one having this problem.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Crashes when you try to log in to the character directly, going through gates, using the bell, logging in through the character select screen, with the performances dropped to minimum, you name it, it crashes to desktop.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope to eventually get my main out of there. Hopefully tomorrow (Tuesday) when everyone comes back from labor day vacation, it'll get fixed enough that we can retrieve toons.</DIV>
