<DIV>When i checked the last Test Server Update i was filled with joy and excitement when i saw this:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"- There should no longer be distortion around the outline of characters or objects visible in front of water. Note: There are different types of water in the game, and not all of them have been updated yet. Please do not /bug water types that still have distortion until this change goes live."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I lost count on the amount of times i have been reporting this to SOE during the last 9 + 2 months (9months in retail and 2 months in BETA)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>FINALLY !!! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Maybe there is hope for mankind after all ey ? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileytongue:</DIV>

<P>I always assumed it was intentional... that the distortion wasn't really distortion it was the mirror image of the item on the water ripples behind it that was partially in line with the object itself and therefore made the image look blurred.</P> <P>But it's good it got fixed I guess... I'm a mechanics guy myself I could care less about the graphics.</P>

The only way it could happen is if the water was highly reflective, in flux, AND was perdicular to both your line of sight AND the object in question (i.e. vertical). Btw, has anyone looked at the Rock of Kaladim or whatever that is in Graystone Yard? You can see thru it if you look in the water parts... it's like.. a hollow rock that happens to be see thru where the water is <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></span><div></div>
