EQ2 hits the 1950's or thereabouts

<DIV>Wow something odd happened today.  While discussing in tells with somone I don't know changes about the upcoming guild status system, something dawned on me.  Think of a guild as a family unit.  Go back to the 1950's when basically only Dad was earning money ... you got lil bro doing lawn, lil sis babysitting and all that sterotypical stuff.  Mom stays at home, feeds the family, cleans the family, nutures the family etc.  Dad makes lets say a nice salary of 30k (for back then).  Bro and Sis make about oh heck maybe 50$ a month.  Mom makes nothing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Which family member contributes more?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The proposed system SOE is considering on test now begins to associate guild members with numbers.  What it doesn't show are artisans, and folks who take time out to help others.  Presently ever guild should know that just because a member is not a patron, doesn't mean they don't contribute.  We know who and what are guildies are worth else we wouln't have them as part of our guild, why should they be assigned a number they may not want? </DIV>
