Why do people post here?

Ive been playing everquest for 5 years. Day after day, week after week.. WONDERFULL IDEAS are SPAMMED throughout all these forums.. NONE are ever recognised by sony. (Technically a few accidently wander into the sony change) but HARD CORE PLAYERS themselves donate WONDERFULL IDEA ONE after another.. Sony does not care what we think. sony does not use otuside influence to change there game. sony takes no note. NEVER have i seen ANY of the Thousands of ideas implimented. (Yea, technically a few, but its not becuase they read it here, some ideas just wander into sonys idea). I love eq2. I love BLIZZARDS WORLD OF WARCRAFT. I HATE SONY. Blizzard.. i respect... my hate for sony was only spawn by sony. My respect for blizzard was onyl spawn by blizzard. I give sony all the respect int he world for what they are able to produce.. (i wont bring up the quality of it...IE Pathing.. ).. Sony just drops the ball, all day long.. and sells the hype. Dont get me wrong.. Everquest is amazing.. <div></div><div></div>Example.. I bruiser is level 18. he has only died 3 times.. Once i pulled 2 orcs, easily soloable.. about 10 percent before the first orc was dead.. for some unknown reason, orc number 2 runs away from the fight <pathing issue>..  before orc number 1 dies.. the encounter resets.. all mobs are granted instant full life.. instant full power.. HEY.. no big deal.. I can live with HORRIBLE Programing.. But then. the monster instantly turns aruond and attacks me.. now that im 30 percent out of life and power.. Now instead of killing  a 2 pack.. Im forced into a 3 pack fight.. I was in a hallway deep in a dungeon, no chance at escape.  The pathing bug ruined my record of zero deaths up to level 18. WTG Sony, the issue is so widespread that sony cant resolve the issue or compensate for anything. This has happened 3 times.. Ive died 3 times due to the same "granting of full life / power to a mob that will instantly reagro" I was in the top 90 rating of all time player kills vrs death ratio. Sure im only 18 with this guy.. but ive got many characters over 50 in eq1 and alot of alts in eq2.. If monsters are going to be granted FULL LIFE and POWER due to a BUG in the ERROR of SONYS programing.. If SONY is CLEARLY at FAULT.. then the monster needs to be set to UNAGRESSIVE for 60 seconds after its Magically granted FULL LIFE and POWER. I PUSH MY GRUOP TO THE LIMIT. I PUSH MY SOLO ABILITIES TO THE LIMIT. And the game is ruined in these facts due to bugs. I play WORLD of WARCRAFT and Everquest. I didnt play WOW this month.. but i paid anyhow.. just in case i felt like it.. no big deal.. with the quality of service provided by sony,  I may not pay Sony next month. Stop chargin me more cash for new zones.. let me buy expansions that FIX THE CURRENT GAME. Yea.. Id PAY if i had to to fix PATHING..  Id buy that before id buy this new desert expansion... I wont even bring up how horrid the waypoint system is.  holy shizigit.. <DIV>Honestly I like Blizzard, can not stand WOW. Played in open beta and bought game once it went live. Got about mid-game got bored, easy game. Started several alts thinking one class would be better, I was wrong. WOW was just like EQLive, once you got to a certain point your toon either became strong as all get out and could solo anything or was [Removed for Content] as all get out and couldn't solo any mob. That is the very reason I stopped playing my 46 Halfling Ranger in EQLive and moved over to EQ2. It was just becoming to hard to solo and get anywhere. I will have to agree that EQ2 has issues but I don't know of an MMOG that does not have issues in one way or another. I'm not saying WOW is bad game, it is just a bad game for me and EQ2 works for me with my play time (I work nights and play during slow server times) I'm able to solo with every class I have and I have one of each (Pally, Ranger, Warlock and Mystic).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Sorry everybody for the mindless rant but getting tired of hearing how bad EQ2 is when you can look at the WOW forums and they are saying pretty much the exact same things there that they are saying here. (The fact that it's usually full of poorly written whines, ill-informed rants, and baseless accusations is an argument for another day.)The testers-only thread is in the "Requests from the Devs" forum, where the devs start a dedicated thread for items that they want feedback on. That thread is supposed to be only replied to by players who have actually tested the change on Test. (A lot of people fail to comprehend that restriction. Which is probably why there are very few Test players posting in that thread.)
