SBS reward changes

<DIV>Adventurers entering the Shiny Brass Shield quest instance must now stand on the pedestal in order to begin the event. The reward for completing the quest will vary by archetype: Priests and Scouts receive a buckler version, while Fighters and Mages receive a kite version.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So what about the people that already finished this quest?  Is there going to be some kind of swap out made available?</DIV>

<P>No dice man, I thought the same thing.  I go the crappy buckler version when I did the quest several months ago.  There was no other version back then.  I just petitioned to swap it for the kite version and the GM basically told me tough luck, so sorry, too bad, so sad and can I help you with anything else?!!!</P> <P>If that isn't meant to be just the most unhelpful response possible, I don't know what is.  Swaps used to be pretty commonplace when changes were implemented. . . . why not automatically change the rewards in people's inventories when you make changes like this?  It isn't like I can do the quest AGAIN.</P> <P>I'm gonna try the Shady dealer guy but I've heard you can only buy back the buckler version . . . . </P>

It costs a little money to do it, but you can always sell your shield to a vendor and then buy the correct version from Shady in Nektulous. <div></div>

Can someone clarify that mages can now use kite shields? that sounds so odd to me...i have a lvl 32 warlock and it would PWN if I could equip a kite shield! is it true!?
