<DIV>I lead a raid through Anvilpaw the other night and had some serious Raid Loot Issues adding the No-Trade tag to these items is ridiculous I don't know whos bright idea this was but it does not work very well in raid zones</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As the Raid Leader I set the loot options to leader only since my guild uses the DKP system for raid loot so this is never a issue. However now 80% of the drops are NO-Trade loot and I can only assign loot to my group we wasted all sorts of loot since a lot of the drops were for a class that was not in my group </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also we have to roll or bid on the no trade items right away slowing the pace of the raid to the point of being no fun. We also experienced this issue in Acts of War. [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] is the deal with this SOE I understand you want to make money from your new adventure pack but this is not the way to do it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>After we got the first couple drops I tried setting the Loot Rules to Lotto but it would not take effect</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Please fix the way the Raid Leader passes out loot by letting him assign loot to the entire raid and for raids like Anvilpaw where the groups go off in seperate directions allow the raid leader to assign a Loot Officer so they can loot stuff also.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>or</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Get rid of the NO-Trade Items</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Besides the loot issues Splitpaw is a excellent adventure pack and I am loving it</DIV>

They need to implement a RL loot bag or something that supercededs all rules and is just a temp holding spot for loot. Then at end of raid or what ever the RL can distribute loot as he sees fit. Once it is out of the bag, its normal attributes take over. It of course isnt a bag in your inventory, but an extra storage only alotted to a RL with a raid.</P> <P>Or somthing along those lines.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>They already have the attune control for loot, why even add a no-trade attribute anymore? I guess I can understand a few things maybe, but those should be limited to items like heritage quest rewards or similar, and even then only in cases where an item is created for you as part of the quest or something. If the story line of an item makes it fitting to have no-trade, then I can understand that... but even then, it should just be that only that one person can use it, but still tradable...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are few things in the game world where it makes any sense to make it untradable ... I mean, am I suuposed to pretend that the item just won't leave my hand or something? That would be CURSED I think normally! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

The ability to attune items should negate any reason to have no trade raid loot for reason which are described by the original post. However, if the idea is to not have raid loot on the vendor or going from person to person, why not make it a no zone sort of thing. As a raid leader you could get the loot and divy it out to the proper people, as soon as the item is zoned though, it is that persons forever. Another option should be for the raid leader to have the ability to select which person in the raid the loot item would go to. Would make it quick and easy because the leader has full control over who wins the item. Click the item, scroll to the proper person and click some sort of OK button. With this, items could stay no trade and I think many raid leaders would appreciate that control feature. Linyen 50 Ranger Permafrost Fires of Heaven <div></div>

DKP, lotto, random assigned, makes no never mind if the RL has the ability to store all loot irregardless and divy it up in the end as however your guild does it.

The no-trade tag on these items serves an _obvious_ purpose. SOE does not want people who did not spend there hard-earned yen on the expansion pack to be able to buy imports from it. The idea is fine, but the methodology is flawed as this forces alot of bad situations on raiders. A fix where the leader-loot assignment is given power to distro across the raid, or a longer decay timer on chests is 100% needed to remedy this as this ruins the raid experience that SOEs customers have paid there money for. <div></div>
This is really a RPITA at the moment

I want no trade so every one who stands beside me with that said item worked for it and earned it. hardcore or casual. I dont casre if i take 4 extra months then bod, or john takes 4 extra months then me, we all earned it equally, and thats all that matters.</P> <P> </P>

I agree that no trade items are fine. The problem is the process you must go through to get the correct person the loot. Like I posted earlier, make a simple screen for the raid leader that gives them the ability to click on a loot item, then perhaps select a persons name from a drop down list. Would make life for everyone much easier. Linyen 50 Ranger Permafrost Fires of Heaven <div></div>
