Be on the lookout for these new types of Scrying Stones, Amulets, Sealed Documents, and Relics. There are different varieties of each of these items for each level range.</P> <P>- You can sell these new items to the same NPCs that assign writ quests. This is a whole new way to increase your guild level and personal status.</P> <P> </P></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE> <P>Has anyone found any items yet? I'm curious if the items are notrade. So far the items (various coins, scrolls, amulets and artifacts) are tradeable. T2 items are 100 status, T5 items are 400 status.(Guessing that T3 is 200, T4 is 300 status...)

How do you recognize these statuts loots? I read on test channel on test server that you need to turn them to city writs giver, is there some particular writ NPC for the differents loots? (eg. status loot A shall be return to writ giver in Elddar Grove, status loot B shall be return to writ giver in South Qeynos - or whoever the correspondant writ giver is in FP) If so how do you know to which you shall give it? <div></div>

They sell for a few cp and x00 GSP (guild status points)</DIV>

<P>As far as I can tell, various items can drop from mobs, some are gsp some are sp. I suspect those items listed as SP can be used by non-patrons to raise their personal staus. GSP items should be turned in by patrons. These items are NOT raising / lowering factions with the NPC's (same NPC's you get writs from, you sell the artifac's to them) they are just adding either guild status or personal status. Each type of item is wanted by different NPC's, you may have to turn in items to qeynos guard writ giver even if you are factioning for Tunare. Since they do not effect actual factions, there is no problem with selling the items to mages in sq, qeynos guards, tunare, etc.</P> <P> </P> <P>The items are tradeable so you can pass to another, sell, etc.</P><p>Message Edited by Kuulei on <span class=date_text>07-18-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:34 AM</span>

ROFL So a guild can now buy it's way to guild level 30. How much more of a joke does the guild level system have to become before they get rid of it entirely <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />
<P>I am in one of the level 30 guilds on live servers. </P> <P>Recently we had 2 patrons quit the guild. Both with over 200k status contributed, and one of the people took an alt crafter/patron who had 80k status contributed.</P> <DIV>This dropped the guild down to level 29 and 20%. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The guild pulled together, appointed 3 new patrons. They joined our writ squad who did writs constantly for 5 days and we were level 30 again. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>By constantly i mean 6-10 hours a day, doing groups of 2 writs, as you can get 2 level 50 writs for the same mobs. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At 2500 status or so a writ, that is a ton of status for the 80% we needed. Heritages alone will not level any guild to level 30. You have to do writs to even have a chance. These status items are just another trinket you can find while adventuring, and won't really impact the rate at which guilds level to 30.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even with these changes it will be a while before people get to 30.</DIV>

<P>Kick you might want to review some of the threads on test - not only about status loot, but also about the change to the patron system. The fact that guilds will no longer loose status when a patron is depatroned AND the addition of status loot items is a problem. I agree that the status loot items by themselves would still require either a GREAT deal of time or money to get a guild to level 30, but when you combine the two changes to the system together getting or achieving guild level 30 becomes a complete joke.</P> <P>The new system allows for patron swapping. So if all your patrons have completed their HQs and a significant portion of your guild has not yet finished theirs you're set. Merely get all your guild members to the final step of their HQs then swap out patron status for them as they all finish them. No big deal - easy to do - guild level 30 presto.</P> <P>Either way you look at it, all that hard work your guild put into getting guild level 30 will be "buyable" by others very soon since status loot items are completely tradeable. And no matter how much of an insane fortune it would cost to procure enough status loot to get there, the very idea that guild level 30 is in any way "buyable" makes me ill. I think it's very sad that they are going to make all the hard work your guild, and many other guilds, put into achieving the accomplishment of guild level 30 a complete joke with their currently proposed changes.</P><p>Message Edited by KindredHeart on <span class=date_text>07-20-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:00 AM</span>

<DIV>What can I say take away the biggest challenge in the game , and well there is no challenge left, and well I will be moving on soon , I mean what else is there to do for a level 50/50 in down time raiding?</DIV>

<DIV>I never agreed with the Patron system to begin with. I think every member of the guidl should be able to contribute to the level of the guild. At least now everyone can feel like they can help, and are a bigger part of the guild. The status loot would be great if they just made it no-trade so that the avg guild member coudl pick up some bonus status while playing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

How bout changing the names of some of these status loot items....they share naming conventions with rare subs and are being passed off as such on the broker.

I'd play up on the fact that they're confusing, and can result in players being easily scammed.

<DIV>Just a Lil Info on Status Loot for anyone who cares to know:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>4 types of loot:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Relics Fighter Writ GIvers</DIV> <DIV>Amulets Priest Writ Givers</DIV> <DIV>Sealed Documents Scout Writ Givers</DIV> <DIV>Scrying Stones Mage Writ Givers</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>These come in a variety of forms based on material types ranging from tier 2 materials to tier 5.</DIV> <DIV>Examples:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Steel Relic, Star Sapphire Amulet, Opal Scrying Stone, Gel Sealed Document, etc...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To note, each tier of each type of loot must be sold to a diff writ giver/NPC. (A total of 16 different NPC's, 4 per class)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For example, guard writ givers in NQ accept the relics. The lowest guard at the foot of the stairs on the right accepts Blackened Iron Relics, the guard midway up stairs buys the Steel ones, the Sergeant to the left of the stairs in the lil recess buys Feysteel and the guard at the top of the stairs to the left buys the Ebon Relics.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Basically to figure out what you have, for T2 it's 100 GSP, T3 200, T4 300, T5 400</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>One problem..the "GSP" is misleading as it currently stands..what you ACTUALLY GET when you sell these back to the appropriate writ giver is PERSONAL status and if you are a patron(as I am) you get the current STATUS divided by patrons for Guild Status Points(thus a 100 point item would net you 100 personal status and with a guild of say 20 patrons roughly 5 guild status)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So far however, I've heard from other guildmates that if you aren't a patron they don't show up as sellable for status at all(even personal, but I have as yet not tested this myself).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyways, just a lil help to those who aren't familiar with the system yet..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also as for the guild's buying their way to level 30, on Guk, most of the even 100 GSP loot items sell for roughly a gold, with T5 stuff in the 10-20 gold range easily.and at only MAX with 12 patrons that's a measily 8.5 guild status points per T2 item. So a single writ alone stands at say 3k personal (for myself anyways) and roughly max 255 guild status per writ with only 12 patrons. I'd guess it'd take more plat than a guild has to even consider buying their way to level 30 status..</DIV>

So, if they sell higher, it is because of demand. Say the market gets flooded (like it usually does), and you eventually find them on the broker for 8.5 silver each. That's 1 sp per GSP. For the example above, where a guild lost about 500k status, it would cost about 50 plat to buy 80% of level 29. Long term, a bad thing for those that put value on earning guild levels.<BR></DIV>
