<P>Yes -- you finish the quest, get a new skill, go stand where you like (in my case, in front of the Seafarer's Roost in East Freeport), cast the new skill, and ever afterwards return to that spot instead of your default point.</P> <P>Unfortunately it's broken for the time being, and I Called back to Stonestair Byway just as always. But when it works that's what it'll do. </P>

<P>Can't wait for this change myself. Gonna bind in EFP right at docks myself. I am very happy to see this implemented. Moorgard mentioned they were looking into this idea, glad they followed through.</P> <P> </P>

Has anyone tried binding themselves *inside* their inn room?

I doubt that would work. If camp and zone back in you appear outside your house. You 'do' zone back into your home instance if it is kept open by another player. <div></div>

You'll only be able to zone in the 10 city zones, 4 main city zones and 6 villages / hoods. Not in the housing instances. You can bind right at your front door, though. =) <div></div>

Has anyone checked to see if someone from Freeport can sneak into Qeynos and set their bind point there? Not sure exactly why you'ld want to do that, but hey could be fun... -Arguile
<DIV>This should have been implmented at launch, however, I glad to see this finally implmenented. (YaY!)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
I think I will truly fear the lag that will become the Qeynos Harbor docks, as if it wasn't bad enough. <div></div>
<P>I'm not experiencing any harbor lag, on test server or otherwise.</P> <P>People binding to Qeynos harbor are generally those that would be going there anyhow, so it shouldn't really increase the load on the zone. </P>

I don't get Harbor lag I get Qeynos harbor dock lag, from where the fence sits to the bells. It's fine down by the bank. I actually think this will mean fewer folks in QH. Since they can bind in their home city and they can zone to most anywhere you can in QH there's less reason to go there. <div></div>

So how soon will this be implimented? And why in CS_Live chat yesterday I was told you can't do it when I asked the above question? Really keen on this one as I have 10 Alts and another 6 on the way and want them in either one of two Home Zones Cheers <div></div>

And they're probably not supposed to give, "Well eventially you'll be able to [thing] as long as it goes well on the Test server" answers, they're probably supposed to give yes or no answers where possible. Numbered updates generally get 1-3 weeks on the Test server before going live, depending how many problems they cause... </span><div></div>

People binding in QH will cause no more problems than what's already there. The people that will bind there will be the people with apts. there and would be going there anyway. Now, if you go to options, display, water and turn Environment Cube Map Updates to Fastest (one time), it helps cut out some of the jerkiness.

I think QH docks have lag due to geometry not users They need to finish that ship... those struts and scafolding I think are killing peoples machines <div></div>

However, I'll go out on a limb and say that the bind point spell works well enough that I'd bet it gets included in Live Update #12. There's one issue where the Odyssey spell isn't sending players to the right zone, and I'm not sure how racial illusions are affecting the destination zone.As to when LU12 will hit production servers... "soon(tm)". (Probably this week, but could get pushed off... nobody from SOE has said anything about the schedule, so we don't know for sure when it will go to production).
