Ok this may seem a little confusing in how im referencing to "back status" but basically what I am referring to is this. If you look at station players guild information it shows the guild status which I was guessing is the % of status that guild patrons are contributing to the guild level, will this be added to the current guild status? I have watched this number for our guild and looked at other guilds that are higher to kind of judge how much more status we need to reach 'x' level, the thing is I have never seen this number fall when a patron has left or been removed from patron status or the guild so it is difficult to judge levels off this. Now they are putting in that guilds do not lose level when patron status changes, so are guilds going to get credit for all of this experience that they lost? For example the guild I'm currently in Blazing Inferno is a fairly solid guild but has had to remove patrons or had them leave for various reasons including things like inactivity, people leaving the game, etc. We are currently a level 24 guild 976,855 status contributed showing, another similar guild on our server is level 25 with 962,516 status contributed showing. I know that this is an update and that we don't always get rewarded for stuff we have done prior to an update, I was just hoping/wondering if any compensation or changes would be made to the guild levels. I have also seen many times, one in particular in a guild that one of my alts was in, where a guild has split and the guild lost many levels in the instance I know of we were almost guild level 15 and we dropped back to level 7, so will those guilds get their levels back? Don't get me wrong, I am in total agreement that something like this was needed, the rest of a guilds members should not suffer because one person gets upset and decides to leave or the guild cannot meet a patrons expectations so they decide to move on. Those status points that they had contributed were lost by the guild and essentially by the player, they cannot contribute to another guild and many guilds will not make members patrons if they have previously finished to many heritage quests. I perfectly understand if this cannot or will not be done it is a great benefit just to not lose any future levels, I just thought I would raise the question in hopes that things could be changed. Effectively a guild losing level because a patron leaves is like a family losing status because a child moves out of the house, should the family name really lose status because of this? No. Now if that child went out and performed a crime the family status may lower, but not simply because they decided to leave and start their own family in another household.

Message Edited by Subbo on 07-14-2005 12:13 PM
