<DIV>Guys</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Group invites across zones are nice and all, but I get enough grief from people blind inviting when I am not LFG just in the zone I am in. If you are going to implement this, can you please, please, please, implement a status flag such as 'Solo' that will automatically decline group invites.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Certainly there will need to be an 'off' switch to cope with the griefers who will use something like this to annoy people. Nothing worse than having a big black box pop up on the screen just as you pull a group of mobs.</P> <P> </P>

There is somewhere in the Options menu an option to automaticly refuse group invites but I am not shure where. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh, and an LFP(looking for player) flag and LFG/LFP notes would be a good additions.</DIV><p>Message Edited by ke'la on <span class=date_text>07-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:24 AM</span>

Would be nice to finally filter artisan levels too. Example /who all sage 50 or /who all sage 40 50 is broke, same if you go to the LFG options and look for artisans of a certain level

<P>I went /anon and it's the best thing I've ever done. As soon as I took it off. /tell me Want to come do this or that raid with us? /reply them I'm kind of busy crafting a heritage item down in the hole. </P> <P>/tell me Can you make me a good weapon? /reply them What lvl are you? /tell me I'm a lvl 8 fighter. /reply them ROTFLMAO just hold onto what you've got for now cuz you'll need an upgrade soon enough. Plus I haven't had raws for that tier for 30 lvls now. <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Plus I'm retired from weaponsmithing. Sorry</P> <P>Save yourself a major headache and just go /anon. </P>

Im sorry but anon dosn't work for beans, ive tried anon, dosn't hide me as a WW, or a dirge, and there are times i want to take care of things in game w/o being annoyed by other players, I just love it when someone asks me to make them a shield in the middle of cazac thule "Oh sure let me wip out my crafting table and make the for ya, Here's your sign." <p>Message Edited by Demothises on <span class=date_text>07-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:17 PM</span>

<DIV>This thread leads me back to something I've thought many times before, which is: given the sheer amount of person-to-person communication inherent in EQ2, there should be a better system in place than /tell.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think it'd be worth it to see some kind of more sophisticated messaging system incorporated into the game, taking ideas from the messaging systems (AIM, Yahoo Messenger, etc) that are already out there in the world.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For example, on those programs you have a setting only to allow a specified group of people -- here it could be a specific list of names you designate, or it could be "guild only" -- to contact you.  I'd love to see that.  There could also be a /block all for when you didn't want to receive tells from *anyone* (although all devs, GMs, QA, etc in my opinion should be able to reach you regardless of that particular flag).  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I also agree that there should be a group LFP tag, and that the whole system should be... refined.</DIV>

<P>Maybe a good intermediate solution would be to add 'Friends' to the filter list under chat options. This way you could see tells from your friends list, but filter out others.</P>

Just type /AFK <insert your message heret> and players will get that message instead of the standard afk one. </span><div></div><p>Message Edited by Nazz04355 on <span class=date_text>07-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:14 PM</span>
