Until they fix some of the bugs I have already reported, they won't get any new bug reports from me. Obviously they don't care about my bugs as they never fix them, so why bother?

Model search is most likely being run by the marketing department and we've already been told that the Station Exchange is being run by the same people who do the EQ2 Players site and not the game developers. While both splitpaw and desert of flames do involve developer time, they are not the same developers that work on the core game. I've been doing software QA now for over 6 years and one thing I've learned is throwing more developers at a problem is one of the worst ways to fix it. Having a small team dedicated to fixing bugs is less congestive and speeds up the process. But as Nolrog stated, its a matter of priorites. Every bug, no matter how devestating or small is assigned a priority and bugs are fixed according to their priority. And you have to keep in mind, something you consider to be game breaking may in fact not be a big deal compared to other existing bugs. And /pizza, while I can see why some people would be upset about taking a developer's time away from bug fixing or content design to impliment it, it probably took all of 5 minutes to do. This was most likely a result of the marketing department as well. *Edited for spelling

Message Edited by Nazz04355 on 07-11-2005 01:24 PM

So you highlighted a part that said "help the bugs find their way to us," us being SOE. Now of course, no where did they say they would fix the bugs. But that's besides the point. And /pizza doesn't even function in the game anymore. If it bothered you that much that you are still complaining about it, then maybe you should have quit a long time ago.
