<DIV>Hi !</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a conjurer I enjoyed the first dungeon of Splitpaw and ordered the extension. </DIV> <DIV>My only grief : the ***** f*** 'Staying in Combat mode' bug.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>YES ! It happens nearly every other fight. Sometimes dismissing my pet resumes me in non combat mode. Sometimes not.</DIV> <DIV>Seing there's 4-mobbed groupes out there, I end every figth with very few HP... Now I have no heal spells so if I can't regen HP, my only option is to camp (or exit) and come back...</DIV> <DIV>And then I have to restart it over <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Seriously, this bug is a huge PLAGUE when playing such instances <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> It defies the logic of those instanced dongeon. It went to the point I let myself be killed to try to solve it <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>PLEASE !</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>No news from this bug ? It's becoming a huge Game killer subject <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I don't know about other people, but since they came out with the new /yell functionality, I only got stuck in combat once, and /yelling cleared it for us.  Maybe it's because I'm melee, but then again, I don't remember hearing anyone else complain about it. <div></div>

I'm a Conjurer, and I've lived in the SPlitpaw zones since they were released the other day.  I have only experienced the locked in combat once.  I play on Steamfont, maybe it's a server issue now?

I play on Test -- though apparently we're currently on a Live build -- and I've gotten stuck in combat four or five times in the last month or two, including lots and lots of Splitpaw playing and playtesting.  /yelling didn't work but it so rarely happens I didn't mind all that much. That said, though, we enjoyed a period of time where it hardly happened at all so I was surprised to see it happening again.  I wonder which classes it's happening to most this time... best I can suggest is to log, take notes of when and where it happens, and hope that there's a pattern noticeable in the who/what/where/when that leads to a why. <div></div>

As a 32 brigand on Test, I hardly ever get stuck-in-combat (SiC) while soloing. I've seen it twice in the past 4 weeks. Which means that it's pretty difficult for me to figure out why it happened and give the devs a good /bug report about it.Once was in the Commonlands. Moving away from the area seemed to fix it, but since it was my first case of SiC, I couldn't say for sure.Second time was in Splitpaw: Upper Tunnels. That was a pretty obvious cause. The mob that I pulled was a paired mob, but only 1 came to me (the other must have been stuck in the geometry). Once I killed the first mob, I was left in combat. Moving away to another part of Upper Tunnels that I had already cleared allowed the encounter to break.

It happens everday for me and i'm a conjurer.  Sometimes dismissing pet helps, but not all the time.  Other classes in group also have the same problem.

I have been having issues as a necro with locking in combat.  Mostly I lock in combat when <b>I</b> kill the mob.  Unsommoning works 90% of the time but the other 10% of the time I have to start a new fight or camp out.  It seems if the pet is not the last one to get the hit then the person who actually kills it gets locked in combat.  This has happened with my duoing partners. <div></div>

<DIV>Yep, the problem is truly back with a vengence! Noticed it happening often in TS and got a little irked. Went to Stormhold to finish a quest off and noticed that the problem is constant in that place. Single or Multiple mob(s) combat just won't release.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Update....back to TS and, yes, the 'stuck in combat' problem is constant there too. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Interestingly....I had received a Know Your Giants book before the Splitpaw public release....after the public release I received the book again from a different stack of bags in the Sabertooth Den. I was surprised and thought, for a minute, that I now had 2 books. Nope. Just one book.  It made me wonder if a rollback in code may have mucked up a few things. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>With the combat problem back I'm now strongly believing a rollback missed a few checkins to code.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>my 2 c</DIV> <DIV>Glitterpaws</DIV>

<P>Im a Conjuror on MM server and I still get this bug.</P> <P>It usually only happens when i actually get attacked by the mob.</P> <P>but moving out of area helps and I think i shall start trying to dismiss my pet to see if that works but i usually get it once during </P> <P>the arena matches and you can't really leave the combat area.  You also can't zone or log without having to start over.</P> <P>personally i liked the bug that we used to have. I got that one less often!! <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P>

<P>Guys if u have the problem just remove any targets by pressing esc and then type     /yell all</P> <P>it breaks all active encounters and removes u from combat, for summoner classes make sure to tell ur pet to back off first otherwise it re-engages and it appears that the yell didnt work when in fact it has...</P> <P>its worked for me every time</P>

I read a post in another forum in which the player stated that using implied targeting (targeting his pet to attack the MOB it's fighting) seems to cause this.  After thinking about what he said I've concluded that it might fit my experiences as well.  I intend to try some experiments tonight to see if that's what is happening.</span><div></div>

<div></div><div></div>This is seriously starting to bother me.  In both Nek Castle and Deathfist Citadel, a group member was stuck in combat when we headed to the final encounter. This caused the final encounter to not properly initiate. In both cases we tried everything we could think of to get Lord Everling and Emperor Fyst to start the final battles. We ended up just having to zone out and forget about the whole thing. A gamer friend was very upset, and it bothered me quite a bit to seem her so distraught by this happening in two seperate zones in a row. It's very demoralizing, especially to the casual gamer, as many people won't consider spending the hours over again in hopes that the instance will function properly a second time. I can't emphasize enough how important it is for this issue to be addressed with great concern. <div></div><p>Message Edited by RedFeather1975 on <span class=date_text>07-10-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:41 AM</span>
