Sony, BREAKING Item is not FIXING items...

So I log on today for the splitpaw instance, and I start doing the subquests. I'm having a great time, when I notice, Hey, my Scimitar of Valor isn't proccing that much today. Well, on further examination, I see this in the description of the items... Light Strike (Effect)  * Cast Light Strike ... ... No %, no Effect, no Dammage... What do you call this? You didn't even bother FIXING the item, you just decided to break it until you get around to it (which could be 1-10 patches later). Sony, people use this weapon as a MAIN WEAPON, and now, they're DPS and ability to help a raid has been STEALTH NERFED without any explanation as to why. And don't even THINK of saying the proc was overpowered, since it only worked correctly on Undead mobs. Please give us some explanation on this bogus stealth nerf, or at least in the future, if you DO nerf an item, DONT BREAK IT COMPLETLY. <div></div>

Did you /bug this?  That is really the best way to go about alerting them something is wrong with an item. <div></div>

Was that the weapon that used to proc on every hit? I'm not trying to make a point, I'm just trying to put this thread into some context. Does it proc at all now, or is it just a description glitch? <div></div>

People complain about little stuff like that happening, if you think it is so simple to update something as complex as eq then be their guest.  I'm sure it is very difficult and some unexpected things occur when updating.  Maybe lighten up a bit and do a /bug report and see what happens.

<div></div>3 things. One, the proc makes this weapon. Without it, it is decent, but nothing great. After dumping the majority of my DKP into the item,  the fact that they removed the proc that makes it stand out is atrocious. Secondly, the proc only went off %10 of the time, which was fine. <P>This is decent sword with only 10% proc chance. There was some armour with same proc that used to work 100%, but its not that sword.</P> <P>I havent checked mine actualy and i dont know if its broken too.</P> <P>The thing about this proc is that i never saw a DoT working, always single DD and nothing else. Tried to /bug it but never saw any difference.</P>
