<DIV>Was zoning my evul side char into his apartment, it restarted my machine. Logged on again and got a pop up asking for my password, this is after I had gone through the patcher, said it was invalid and put me to desk top. Looged on again, took me to char screen, said I had a char in game and wait, I did. Finally started to get me into game, only to restart the computer again.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tried it again, got me into game, clicked on apartment door to enter, crashed computer to a restart.</DIV><p>Message Edited by eqfool on <span class=date_text>06-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:54 PM</span>

I had this same problem the other day on test except it was on the island and whenever i tried to zone into mizan's cellar  my computer rebooted so i bugged it and zoned off the island to see if it was only the cellar or everytime i zoned.Well i zoned everywhere else and never got rebooted so maybe this is an issue that is getting bigger by the day. <div></div>

<DIV>Having the same problem on live servers. Can't eevn last a second in Mizans, though by turning all the particles off in my inn room it seems to allow me to survive without a crash there. Didn't fix the Mizans area however.</DIV>

This is occuring to me on Test.  My character was running around Commonlands and suddenly rebooted.  I have tried to log back in several times over the past few days with no luck.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. <div></div>

<P>I was having the problem on innothulle server, mind you i have 2 accounts. i had one character that crashed to desktop every time i tried to zone into his house, if someone on the same account tried to visit would crash to desktop. But my other account could visit. My solution was move all my files to a seperate folder, then copy the files from my other account into the eq2 account that was crashing, then i copied my ui files back into that folder so i could keep my settings. </P> <P>This fixed my issue. some how the housing file was corrupted i'm assuming it had to do with the way that house vaults work, as my problem started when i had a good and an evil with items in house vault for sale and i modified the good side, the evil side was then inaccesable.</P> <P> If you only have 1 account that would make for a reinstall of eq2 or delete the zone that was causing the crash issue and repatch. My problem was I have no clue what the housing file was named. Drastic way I had to do the fix, but it did fix the issue. </P>
