<DIV>Well, it's good to see that those that wanted the Robe of the Invoker and the Gebs to stack got the attention of SoE.  I really am happy that your concerns were listened to.  However, I am a mystic, I don't have or want a RoI and worked hard to finally obtain my Gebs.  I didn't join a pick up raid and get them in an hour as some have claimed to do.  It literally took months for me to finally be able to complete the quest.  This is the only power regening piece of armor I have as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As a mystic, I found it difficult to do anything solo as I would run out of power before the mobs would run out of hitpoints.  Once the solo 45 writs were put in, I thought I would have a better opportunity to do them on my own.  I found that I was still having power issues.  Once I obtained my Gebs, I found it much easier to do these writs on my own.  I can actually kill 2 writ mobs and sometimes 3 before being totally oop.   That was with the Gebs regening at 20 per tick though.  Now, with todays update, they will only regen at 5 per tick.  So basically I find myself back to where I was before I put all my hard work into getting them in the first place.  I understand that any decision SoE makes regarding the game isn't going to make 100% of the people happy 100% of the time.  This decision really affects my ability to play how I like though, which really disappoints me.  I want to like this game and I want to stick with it like I did for over 5 years of EQ, it's just getting harder and harder to do so.  :smileysad:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Dae</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>p.s. and before you post asking, no you can't have my stuff.</DIV>

<DIV>i feel your pain, but i also have RoI so i have even more to complain about</DIV> <DIV>not only did i bust my hump tryin to get GEB, but i spent over 3 weeks camping that rock and killin lizardmen for my RoI, after prolly 80+ hours of straight tryin to get one, finally saw one for sale and spent every dime i had at the time to buy the RoI, and as a wizard we run out of power sooooo fast, especially in raids, so teh only way that things worked out well was with both RoI and GeB, now i can understand nerfing those because they seem to be the easiest to get, but to also make battlement of the mind worthless, it really leaves not much left to look forward to as a wizard, because 5 power per tick is not even worth my time as a wizard, that would be like 1-2 extra spells all fight long, and as it is i already spend more time casting power regen spells than i do casting DPS spells... that just doesnt seem right to me</DIV> <DIV>as it is with both RoI and GEB it was only easy to keep up with power to have at least 1 mezzer in group, now without those working worth a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot], even a chanter isnt going to help any</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>its changes like this that make me question even playing any more</DIV> <DIV>*shrugs*</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>guess ill have to make a new character if i want a true DPS class character unless they really revamp wizards</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Hi,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>what the GEB's are ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That is a Heritage Item which is called the Golden Efreeti Boots.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>You have to do a really long quest for it, slay Raid Mobs (which are not always up)  run through Lavastorm, </DIV> <DIV>speak with people in Instances where you can't get alone because the Mobs will beat the Hell out of ya, </DIV> <DIV>camp other Mobs, wait for other Mobs to respawn, kill a lot of single Mobs, speak with other people, make an </DIV> <DIV>access quest for the Bastion of the Efreeti (if no one in your group has it), and beat Lord Djarn in the Bastion after</DIV> <DIV>his minions, do this, do that...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yeah, i did it, and yeah, it took weeks, and now i am hell of frustrated to because they got nerfed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I don't know if i can solve any quest to get an item, because i don't know if it gets nerfed in the future because some </DIV> <DIV>really-good-high-level-raid-guild where everyone has Invokerrobe and GEBs complained that's to easy... for me it was never. </DIV> <DIV>I get kicked by two lvl 44 mobs (as an 50 wizz) one white beats the hell out of me, resists even my adept 3 ice comet and </DIV> <DIV>the adept 3 ring of cold, has more hitpoints than i can possibly mana regenerate (even with GEBs it was hard) and now i </DIV> <DIV>can kick them (The Boots, not the Mobs). Better wear the Journeyman Boots - makes you ran faster away from the Mobs </DIV> <DIV>you can't beat either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that now that the Invokerrobe gots nearly worthless, they adjusted the spawnrate of the stone back do a few hours </DIV> <DIV>instead to a few days.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Shall i make the quest for the prismatics ? The only thing why i do the quest is, that it has a great story. I can't do it for the Item, </DIV> <DIV>because in some time in the future surely it gets nerfed because it's so overpowerd. And then if someone (not only me) starts </DIV> <DIV>whining another one tells (already told) me, it doesn't  matter because there are more and better items in the Add-On and i shall </DIV> <DIV>go and buy it. Yeah, right. And after i bought it and obtained them (through long and hard quests as the GEBs had) they will be </DIV> <DIV>nerfed, because they are to good and i shall buy the next add-on because the Items are even better.... and so on.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yeah, it's a whining post, so just go on and ignore it, how you ignored all the other posts in that.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Think of Everquest2 beeing a rope, made of hundreds of single stripes.</DIV> <DIV>Everytime the do something wrong (be it Translation, nerfing, changes) or do simply nothing, one of the stripes are cut through.</DIV> <DIV>And even one the hardest EQ2 Fanatic (would never play that other game, which is abbreviated 3 letters) who had</DIV> <DIV>really loved it since beta is about to go sometime.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But not this time.... Yet.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ah, yeah, it's only a post form another whining guy who threatens to go... sorry for that. Please go on and count all the guys</DIV> <DIV>who threatened to go, take that number, multiply it by, say, 1000 and you have the number of the people which got away without</DIV> <DIV>trying to tell SoE that they want to play further, they desperately want to stay in this game, that they have the Hope that sometime</DIV> <DIV>it will be better....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Greetings,</DIV> <DIV>and thanks that you stood awhile and listened,</DIV> <DIV>theriatis.</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 50 Wizard.</DIV><p>Message Edited by theriatis on <span class=date_text>06-29-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:56 AM</span>

<P>Totally agree.  The GEBs are now next to worthless.  They were already a hit to my stats, and now I'm wondering if there is even a point to wearing them, at all.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>GEB are in fact worthless.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The idea that  a heritage item that requires you to do so many things and takes quite a bit to complete provides less regen than a low level robe amazes me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What sense does this have...none.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The least SOE could have done is make them both equal in mana regen and 12 would have been a good number.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not everyone that has the robe has the boots and vice versa.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The GEB are a high end item and rightfully so.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh well.....just another thing to be dissappointed about.:smileysad:</DIV>
