*** Item Examine Information ***

- Examining items such as armor, weapons, and spell scrolls will now show which classes can use them and at what level they can be equipped. This replaces the previous information that showed the skill name and required skill level, which was often confusing.

- In the near future we will modify the market window to allow browsing by class.

- Note: Currently the class listed on items is being displayed improperly as All, even on items that can only be equipped by certain classes. This bug will be fixed before this feature goes to the live servers.

That's what I'm talking about!!! :smileyvery-happy:

This looks good. What I would also find useful would be some method of searching ahead in range. At the moment if you want to keep at eye on the market for pieces of armour for your next level you only have the option of setting upper limit RED. This returns armour at levels all the way up to 50. If you could specify search by range, e.g. 32-34, you could see much more easily those bargain pieces you might like to buy now for use later.

I'd also thought it might be better to be able to search by armour level, i.e. light, medium etc. But being able to specify class as well as colour this change should have almost as good an effect.

Being able to search by class means being able to see stuff ahead of your level that you can use later on. Be it spells, armor whatever.
If I search by Conjuror for orange to red when I'm lvl 33 then it will show all items from 33 to 50. This could be dozens of pages. But I am only interested in the next 1 or 2 levels for buying ahead. This is progress and good progress but perhaps could still be improved.

I hope this means the start of class specific items, and eventually (hopefully) race specific items, thus adding more variety to the game.

I wanted this change as well. As I /feedback'd a suggestion to help players who prefer to buy there equipment in advance. ei. 3-5 levels in advance. MY MAJOR concern was that the new item descriptions do not show a mastery! I know that not having certain skill values visible anymore would change that but an item description should have the below example's information. eg. Fury 25(30) Warden 25(30) Fury and Warden can use the item at lvl 25. The item is mastered at lvl 30. The mastery shown in brackets next to lvl requirment. Some items do not grow in strength as many levels as others. It's important to me to know this, when selecting or buying an item, as I can then guage how much of a long-term investment the item will be!

Message Edited by RedFeather1975 on 06-24-2005 11:31 PM

Message Edited by RedFeather1975 on 06-24-2005 11:33 PM
