Instead of not allowing items to stack, why not just put a limit on the amount of regen a person can have? Instead of making an item totally useless, after a lot of work has gone into getting it, just make anything past a certain point, of diminishing returns.Say anything past a certain number, be a 3 for 1 ratio or something.

Because then you would also be ninja nerfing the high end raiding loot by limiting it's effectivness.

How many people can do raids the high end encounters and how many cant ?With this nerf they planning to do ,you mean it will make uber guilds err happy and other unhappy and seems fair? Most ppl on this game will never have a chance to get other power regen item that is not that robe or geb items.

I would say that the alternative would be to start making pre-nefred version of some items that has been a long time in the game and they never got fixed( like if robe/effy boots realy had a problem, lol) in here like was done on EQ1 cause that made people stop [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]ing and complainning

Should be some kind law like if an item is "buged" that are making some kinds fights easier or so it should have priority on beeing fixed, in around 3-5 months maxxxx, if the fix did not come then leave as it is or make the pre-nefred version like I already mentioned above, this seems fair, will make ppl stop to lose time camping mobs and ground spawn that after a while will becoem totaly useless.

Allowen,lv50

necromancer

Mistmoore server

I have a ROI and am not in an uber guild, it took me 20 minutes to get the drop and an hour to do the quest, and now I cant even wear the thing because it is red.

I just laught off my mouth at people who suddenly trying to sell more of such robes at German servers. They have all in one more chances to sell as at American/EU(ENG) servers. And those people should be ashamed because they know about changes in LU11 and still charging for this robe arm und leg.

Basically thsi is pure scam.

AzraelAzgard wrote:
Everyone I see with Robe of Invoker is in an uber guild, never seen a casual player with RoI.

Not to be argumentative, but I was grouped with four players all wearing it on Saturday, on Test. And I guarantee you that on Test they have to camp the rock just like everwehere else (guildmate camped that thing for five days before it showed). And there are no uber guilds on Test, certainly not by Live standards anyway. So it's not easy, but it can be done if you have the patience.

Dystrax wrote:
Khalan, check out the items forum, the thread entitled fix battlment of the mind. they are making BoM items unstackable.

= f@cking ret@rded.

Yes and I saw that, What Im saying is Incombat Power regen to the scale granted by GEBS/ROI stacking is unneeded for casual or Group play. Let's be honest, against any Group Encounter in the game, Incombat power regen is marginal at best.

What it does Help with:

1) Dealing with adds/Mobs much higher conned and the long fights as a result

2) Killing raid targets undermanned and low on healing

3) Slowing down the rest time between pulls for group grinds (Just Barely here, Good drink kills this)

So Let's See What he have for Incombat regen, We have GEBS or RoI, Prismatics, and 1 Battlement of the mind (since it no longer stacks). To be honest that should be enough for anyone. Most Raiding guilds have enchanters and this Change makes them more loved by all.

If your in a raiding guild trying to Kill grp x 4 Mob_X with 9 people, and then cry bloody murder since u cant have the sick in combat power regen that let's you do this. You need to re-evaluate.

Look, don't get me Wrong, I DO feel bad for the people who spent 100 hrs camping rock etc etc or payed 12pp for a Robe. But I will tell you 95% of the robes out their were attained pre-rock nerf, I can almost guarantee it. Heck when they added the rock, We had people in guild handing out the starter to people, Some decided not to do it, oh well their bad:smileysad:

All I am saying is With Geb's, RoI, Battlement of the Mind, and a Prismatic, the need for a chanter becomes incredibly lessoned. High end Raiding guilds will do just fine without it, they didnt get good off the back of one item. Casual Player's don't really NEED it assuming they are playing properly, hey sure it is a bonus it makes you that much better. But it is unneccasary unless you are chain pulling/getting adds and aggroing reds, in which case it SHOULD be very hard to recover and not wipe. Let's not make the game any easier then it is.

my 2cp

The need for a chanter is not lessened, The need for good gear for priests and mages though whose abilities are solely based on poweris great.

Thanks for taking away some of the good gear.

Of course if you are in a small guild you should have no problem getting a prismatic weapon right???? Yeah.

Going to look for what some of you guys are smoking.

Hi,

i don't know if the Robe is attunable so if it is, the least you (SOE) can do is to make it attunable again (for those who have it attuned) so that at least they (the people who are really annoyed from that nerf > all) can sell the Robe and make at least a little bit money for the time they spent camping. At least. Oh Well....

Maybe you should, with nerfing the Robe, make the Spawntimes of the Rock a little less annoying (once or twice a day would be really nice) so for the people who still want the Robe after the changes, that they can get it.

And to solve the Problem with the "Everyone is having a RoI" make it attunable again and only wearable for Caster classes. (for which it was intended, i think).

Maybe i shouldn't post such ideas, a SoE Dev could come and take that for real - and ignoring the big sarcasm tags over it.

Greets, theriatis.
