It's pretty [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] good, has chocolate chunks and brazil and macadamia nuts too. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Amise on <span class=date_text>06-16-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:07 PM</span>

Second the combat upgrade isn't late they never gave a time frame for that. The priest changes and other classes are late because they decided to include that in the combat upgrade.<BR>

<span>Bit hard to say without knowing how LU11b will be, though LU10 wasnt that good either.</span><div></div>
<P>I will say it again these updates are crappy and the combat revamp will come after the expansion because all the devs are working on the expansion and Splitpaw pack. </P> <P>They fed us the same line in SWG that it was a different team doing the expansion then admitted it, they moved all the devs to the expansion. </P> <P>I still want to know why can they make and meet deadlines when it is to get more money from the players.</P>

<DIV>I suspect that nerfage and rebalancing will progressively disappear from future MMORPG.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The MMORPG market is very different from the days of Everquest. Back in 1999 you played EQ or you read about other MMORPG's in development. Then came Asheron's Call and Anarchy Online. Now that the market is maturing with many second generation games into commercial operation two factors are starting to come into play. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Firstly, competitive pressures are increasing on contemporary online games. There are new games launching across the bow of your release on an ongoing basis. Secondly, and its partially related, the lifespan of these games is reducing. We may never see another Everquest, with what could feasibly be an 8 year life cycle. I suspect that Earth and Beyond with a two year life cycle will become more the norm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Accordingly the commercial negotiating strength will move from the game provider to the game subscriber with nerfage becoming a rarity and customer satisfaction become a growing concern in a very competitive market.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We may even see "churning" where people are hired to move players from one game to another on a commerical fee basis. Can you imagine?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>"Hey Card..I really enjoyed grouping with you. I also have a character on Wombats Online. if you would like to try it out I could offer you a special deal" :smileysurprised:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by lagerone on <span class=date_text>06-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>02:56 PM</span>
