still no dueling??

i was just wondering if any1 had any update on dueling? its getting frustrating to see that they will give us 360* screenies and other things but dueling is taking foreva....i dont wanna rant on and on about [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] where is dueling or f-u devs for not putting in dueling i just wanted o know if there was any updates from the people

Well they had it pretty well mastered in EQ1 .. sure there were class unbalances , but as a cleric I had my fair share of wins , and it was fun .. even losing can be fun. Its going to take time, time away from other bugs / fixes that could be getting done. But its not like we expect a perfect game to be dropped in our laps .. Nothing is perfect , if you recieve perfect things you will soon find flaws.

I doubt SOE are going to let people duel without their armor losing durability on death. Dueling really isn't going to be popular if it's not penalty free. <div></div>

Second priority is getting PvP working for the DoF expansion. After that, they've said that they will be considering adding an all-PvP server at some point down the road.Now, for the past few weeks, they've been concentrating on getting the Splitpaw AP out. Which means no updates to the /duel code in almost 4 weeks. So... if I was a betting ratonga, I'd bet that there will be changes to /duel on Test in the next few weeks now that Splitpaw has gone live.
