Blood Talon......bugged?

<DIV> <DIV> <DIV>I have no idea if this is a bug or just a streak of bad luck so I thought I'd post here before filing a bug report. Has anyone else had trouble getting Blood Talon to spawn? I have spent 4 days now trying to get him to spawn. The first day I spent no kidding 6.5 hours killing every griff in the area and the centaur captain but he never spawned. The next day I spent 4 hours doing the same with the same result. 3rd & fourth night same thing. I kill off every Mighty Griffon in the area, the centaur Captain and even Breaghan but no Blood Talon. Heck not even Grimfeather has popped. 2 of the 4 days I did this in TS2 and the other 2 in TS1. Is it just bad luck or have others had this same problem and it's a bug I need to report?</DIV> <DIV>This is on the Lucan RP server BTW</DIV></DIV></DIV>

Um, Q'Tar, this is the <b>wrong</b> forum to be asking this in. You want the Zones and Population forum or maybe the Quests forum.This is the Test Feedback forum. Even if a tester answered you it may not mean anything because the Test environment can be, and often is, completely different from the Live environment at any given time. If it's bugged on Live it may be working on Test or vice-versa.

That being said... yes, we have seen Bloodtalon on the Test server in the past few days. Sounds like bad luck on your end.Slaughter everything that roams on the griffon plains (from the graveyard to the dead river basin).

To answer your question. First you are lucky that you are doing it now and not 6 months ago, as the pop rate has been GREATLY increased. If you got BT in less the 3 days you were really lucky, when the game first came out. I personally spent a week on him. Onto your problem. Grimfeather is a placeholder for BT, so if Grim is up BT can not pop. Best bet it to try another instance or try and talk some 30's into raiding him.

And the centaurs have nothing to do with Bloodtalon, only Grimfeather and the mighty griffons.

It might have been a coincidence but I left the regular griffon's alone and Bloodtalon spawned within an hour. Thank you all for your suggestions and help it helped a lot. We got him to pop and took him out. Sorry for posting in the wrong area.
