This is a feedback board, isn’t it? It seems clear that the OP’s feedback is that there are not enough testers looking for/encountering problems in the LU’s. I have seen posts from both testers as well as SOE personnel indicating there is a less than desirable amount. And while this thread might not be terribly constructive, it’s not overly deconstructive either. I don’t believe that SOE is going to shift its policy based on one thread. And I think the more harmful threads are the ones, though technically on-topic and specific, are rife with negativity and demands.

The problem is not the testers. Testers /bug and feedback in game. Testers even contribute feedback on the forums (do a search for guild promotion bug). There is also a Testers Only forum that has none of the spam, negativity, demands, blaming that exists in this forum. Testers are putting the messages out there, the problem is whether they are getting read in time.

Here is a possible problem I see with the current testing system. SOE does not want to leak out new and exciting things they are working on so in an effort to get them out quickly they have a tendancy to make them live shortly after putting them on the test server. When this happens the testers and Dev's don't have time to compare notes and get corrections made. A suggestion I would have is this. Make the tester only forums just that...tester only. Others should not be able to read those postings that way SOE has time to read the notes and implement the changes needed.

Flame if you want but I think a tester ONLY forum with the understanding that a tester cannot divulge what is being said in the forum to the regular forum's is what is needed to help them & the Dev's work better together.

The marjority of our feedback lands there, not out here. ~Eva

Well, given that perhaps one answer is more time between the Live Updates? If it means no bugs, why not double the time from 3ish weeks to 6ish weeks?

My appologies Master Hank. I do not see that particular channel on my current screen so was unaware of it's existance and since I am new to this I never saw any previous threads on this topic. Thank you for so BLUNTLY pointing out my obvious stupidity for trying to help

Honestly I wasn't trying to bag on any of the testers. I think they do a much needed job. Wish I could help them. I honestly did not see that there was already a tester only forum that can't be seen by anyone else, was only trying to come up with an idea to help
