Glowing chests

What am I missing? Does anyone know what these boxes are for and how to use/activate them? Now it doesn't look like the normal chests that drop after defeating something, got that too. This appeared right after looting the chest that dropped.</DIV></DIV>

Did you happen to notice any new buffs after you clicked use?

These chests are as stated "buff chests". They are bugged at the moment. <div></div>

I have never seen one work, but I always just assumed they weren't stacking with a buff our group already had. <div></div>

many of these chests are broken and will not do anything when you click use. In fact if you get one that wont work please bug report it.

<P>Now that y'all mention it, i am quite disappointed that these rewards arent a bit more prevalent in game. The fact that anytime anyone ever finds one they have to run to the forums to find out what it is should tell you something <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I think these are a great idea and should be applied to simple groups of mobs as well as being a reward of the dynamic mob camps. I think it would be awesome to be able to go into a raid instance and the fight right before the boss a group of mobs you kill drops one of these chests that casts a buff on your raid that makes you a bit more effective for a short period. Better yet, make it cast a buff on your raid so you CAN affect the final boss... without that buff you wouldn't be able to hit the end boss. Maybe even expand the worth of these chests to include coin... who knows. The possibilities are endless, but they're so few and far between at this point that no one really cares and/or knows about them. Hey devs... make em work and then make em useful!</P> <P>-Aeg</P>

<P>This special dropped chest/items seems to be for me in some static locations.</P> <P>If you camp the High Priest in CL you will see pop such item and clicking on them will grant you buff for you or for your group.<BR>there was another spot in TS near the thundermyst village. Fun to get but no biggy..</P> <P>S</P>

I suppose the chests you're talking about here are the smaller "chests" (think I saw some other objects too already) made all from light. These do indeed give some buffs. But there are also some huge chests which sparkle somewhat but are made of wood. Have seen such one in Zek...it also had "Use" as a right click option, but it didn't do anything. Any clue where this came from? <div></div>

Nah they are bugged....had 3 yesterday and didn't have 1 buff they are just not doing a thing. go go SOE another thing to add to the 5 miles of things to do this millenium list.
