*** The Return of the Frogloks *** - New information has surfaced that indicates the noble frogloks are being held captive in the Feerrott! - Frogloks in West Freeport and Castleview Hamlet can direct adventurers on the quest to help release this honorable race from the bonds of tyranny. - Complete the quest for yourself and create your own froglok character! This quest is well-suited for solo players around level 20 and higher. - Defeat the powerful evil force binding the froglok spirit and you'll make frogloks available for everyone on your server! This epic battle will require a full raid force of powerful adventurers. My concern is with the above statement. Several of the mobs at the begining of this quest are lvl28 and lvl32 which is definetly NOT soloable by lvl 20 players. Also, if a journey to Feerrott is invovled isnt the access quest for the Feerrott mid to upper 30s? This is going to feel like punishment to alot of people like me who are very casual players and who might level very slowly or tend to hop around various alts. Please cosider making these required battles scale to the solo player and be truely doable by a solo lvl 20. Thanks Elly

I don't want to say much about it but I will say that you don't need Feerrott access to do the solo Frog quest.

well thats good, Thanks! On my lvl 20 character on Test Ive only got into the solo froglok quest a bit and I have already been asked to kill a lvl 28 and Ive heard from others that even higher level mobs to kill later in the quest. Some sort of solo version mob level scaling would be very appreciate.

They lied -- excuse me, were mistaken -- in the patch notes. And anyone who points out the discrepancy between official information and facts tends to get one-starred.

That said, the journey to the Feerott is NOT part of the solo quest, but the epic one. The solo allows you to unlock froggies for the one account; successful completion of the epic raid unlocks froggies for every account on the server. Casual players (and accounts, like both of mine, which are primarily artisans) will just have to wait until the power gamers get together and go a-raiding.

Message Edited by RoseWhite on 05-23-2005 02:36 PM

A group of 20's can't do the quest. But a group of mid twenties can. The solo version. A 28 defiler and a 21 bruiser can do it. But the highest level mob is 32. But all are solo mobs. But someone has to be able to hit that high of a level mob. ~Eva

Ok, just to clarify: I'm on a non test server and would like to get a bit of information on this.

You say the solo quest unlocks frogloks for an entire account, meaning I can unlock the frogs in Najena, then make a froglok on some other server, is that correct?

In addition, for those that have completed this, if any have, is it doable for a solo lvl 35 wiz, or will I need back up?

Thanks, any info is much appreciated

Chandra of Najena

Message Edited by Misseh on 05-24-2005 01:10 AM

Can the Evil players get a quest / raid to counter the frogs being unlocked on the server pls? I know a lot of old eq1 trolls would love to do that just to turn the frogs in to toe jam... Revenge is best served cold even if it is 500+ years later.

A level 35 wiz can solo it. A level 28 wiz can probebly solo it. ~Eva

A hint, you can walk on walls.
