can not find character please exit and patch loop problem

<DIV>I log into test today and Im in baubbleshire, i talk to an npc and pick up a new quest .  All is fine and test as usual is beautiful.    Then I go to use the bell and zone to Graystone but i double click the bell and a flash of the box comes up and then poof the the zone screen comes up only its black.  I then find my self at the character selection screen and so I reload and get this message telling me that my character can not be found on the server and to exit and repatch.   I did once and got back in then went to use the bell this time more carefully and the same thing happened.   So I repatch only this time I never get back in because I keep getting the can not find character on server message.   So I try it again and then try to load a different character and the same thing.   I didnt see any other post on this.   Cant bug it cause ... I had the same thing on Butcherblock server this morning right before the normal morning patch (about 5 mins before servers actually came down).  I have to assume that *something* went down prior to the usual patch.  Maybe they store characters on a different server and that went down earlier than it should have or something - not sure.  Anyway, I haven't tried it since the servers came back up but I bet it works ok now.
