View Full Version : You know what is lame....
You know what is really lame? that SoE mods are quick to lock a thread about them giving a "select few" first dibs at new content but cant address the majority of the player base actual issues about classes , combat , spells etc... THAT IS WHAT IS REALLY LAME ( in before the lock since i think most of the MoDs are simpletons who care more about nothing then the actual game ) <div></div>

You know what is really lame? That someone would use the test forum to complain that in-game testing is occuring. <div></div>

You know what is really really lame? That one guild were jealous of another guild being asked to test something and actually broke the law and hacked the other guilds forums to get the info... lame real lame. <div></div>

You know what is real lame ..... OH MY GOD!!!! WHO CARES! <DIV>:smileysurprised:</DIV>
The point i was making is that they were quick to respond and then lock a thread ( mind you not one but TWO MOD's responded back to back ) But when it comes to legit player issues it usually takes 9 pages before a response But hey most people cant understand someone being cynical? ( oh and for the person who responded about the lame for crying foul about testers um you know what guild Fires of Heaven is right? ) No wonder they always get to beat content first..... the get to test it before it goes live <div></div>

If you were that concerned with winning encounters first you had your chance to move to test, just like everyone else did. If more people would have done it, then there would not be the need to do selective copies. <div></div>
what's lame is despite high end content being tested by who SoE feels to be the most fitting guilds to test the content it is still pushed to live with exploits intact (at least for the first couple hours after patch).

Before locking, I'll explain why this happens at all: We need to test new content with real players in a real situation. It is not to give certain players or guilds first dibs on anything, it is to get a new raid tested and streamlined before it goes out to the Live servers. While we do test these encounters ourselves, we don't necessarily play the same as the rest of the community. If we decide to manually copy over some characters and request that these players help test something, it is for the good of the game, not because of favoritism. <div></div>
