View Full Version : Auto face a targeted NPC in combat fails 100%

Since the last updated I've had this in every melee fight, all my characters no longer will turn to face the targeted NPC only the camera moves, so the target can't be hit as my character isn't facing it. It's ok when theres just one or two then I can move it manually when I'm fighting, but not when 5 or more e.g. boat ride to EL and the swat a fairy or die quest.I am using my mouse to Move the view with my character centered, so no I'm not using mouse look. I have reset all my controls and view settings to defaults and tested on both my normal sserver and on the Test server and both give the exact same problem.

<P>I noticed this too.</P> <P>I fight from horseback and it looks more realistic because the Mob is on the side.  But it is a PITA when I am in a dungeon.</P>

The new default setting they put in causes this.  You have to go in and change Options -> Controls -> View Options -> Free look controls <div></div>
