It was an obvious bug. 31gp for a house that normally costs 3pp.Live Update 8 is coming this week.

it was a house that cost 30-60g a week that was for 6g. wasn't obvious to me was first house i saw above a 2 bedroom that was reaonable. it you had seen the location you would expect it to be less expensive anyway

<P>He already gave his reply elsehwere .. All of us who use the house are cheats / exploiters who should have reported this obvious bug.</P> <P>Which is the most insulting thing I have ever had thrown my way by someone who is supposed to be professional CS. I doubt he'll give any further response or clarification to us 'cheats'.</P> <P> </P>
It was an obvious bug. 31gp for a house that normally costs 3pp <DIV> <HR> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It sure looked odd which is why so many Housing forum regulars have discussed it there for ages and quite a few have petitioned to doublecheck before moving there - the GMs have solidly been telling us there is no problem with the price. Faced with that, you'd choose to pay 3pp over 61g? (the cost wasn't ever 31g)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>Hmm well this is the first I have heard of the house price bug. so guess not everyone knew about this bug and I would think some ppl could have made the mistake of thinking wow a cheap room. I would not however assume evryobody that rented that room is an exploiter or cheater and think its pretty nasty thing to say IMO.</P> <P>Oh and I still rent and think I always will rent my 5 silver room in stonestair. even 31 Gold is way overpriced I think. </P>

<DIV>I dont' have any house but the freebie, but I think calling these people exploiters is unjust and rude.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>First of all, If a room is priced over my budget I'm not even going to look at it. So how am I to know that there is a 20 plat room that is essentially the same as my 6 gold room? Is it too much to imagine than people don't even tour rooms they cant afford? I was in freeport and noticed a 6 gold 2 room suite and was thinking about upgrading my house, since 6 gold is within my abilities now. Sure there are gazillion plat houses that cost 5 bazillion Status per week, but I'll never afford them so why even look inside? I don't walk into the suburbs and tour and compare each house. I'm sure there are plenty of people like me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Second of all, If someone did doubt, and asked a GM for verification, is it too much to believe that they are saying the truth. GMs give false information all the time, "Froglocks are in game.", "It's working as intended" come to mind.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ishnar</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I imagine it will be a very long time before I move out of Big Bend. Why would anyone volunteer to that kind of money sink anyways? Unless they were very wealthy. When the time comes that I have more money than I can spend...that all of my alts are level 50 and fully equipped...I will move to "Belair". Heck...that could be years from now.

Sorry for OT, but personally directed threads are ignored I think.
