<DIV>Posted this in another thread but the replies went off topic. Thought I would post this here for some feedback/suggestions.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> <HR> </DIV> <DIV>Thought i would throw a thought at the devs since the combat system is in flux atm. We have mobs out there that are ^ to ^^^ in same lvl diversity to show how tough the encounter is. The str and agi are used for us as well as the creatures we are sparring with to determine whether us or them hit or miss and how much dmg is involved. Scout mobs can see invisible some times. All fall under a class with skills and spells such as ourselves. The mobs are basically being geared up to fight just like us so....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How about doing the same for us? I'm still a bit in the dark about what exactly orange to green gear differences are and the fact that some skills barely improve when upgrading to the adept I's and above. Why don't we get a bonus for maxing out our gear and skills and get some ^ to ^^^ above our heads. Seems only fair. I know a mob that is ^^ green to most any character post 20 is a rough encounter 9 out of the 10 times i engage them. This should be scaled under a system that would take in affect whether WE were a tough mob to that creature and denote it with same lvl diversity depending on better gear( orange to grey difference) and whether we have upgraded our skills even the ones that barely make a change to the actual skill. So under this system a ^^white creature would be an even match for a ^^player. The current code would support this I would think because it's already implemented for the mobs we face. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just an idea, but I think it would give a more dynamic feel to each character as well as give us a better reason to buy those new skills and armor/weapons that those tradeskillers are trying to produce for the public. It would also let us see exactly how well our characters are prepared for encounters, instead of guessing whether we should even attempt the battle or not. If the mobs are based on us and have the same skills and abilities as us we should be given the same rights :smileywink:</DIV> <DIV> <HR> </DIV>Would like to hear the good and bads about this idea. I'm sure there are many more things this would help and maybe disrupt. Been awake too long and had too much caffiene to think of any more :smileytongue:. Look forward to your thoughts on this.
