A few people in another thread were curious about the new mitigation values. Here are some values for those that are curious. They don't mean a lot now as the current system is only half implemented. First off, keep in mind that armor type (light, medium, etc) values have also been adjusted and are reflected in these test server values. Jewellery, however is not affected by that change as it isn't classified as light, medium, etc. Also note that testing choices were limited due to availability of items on the test server. For Very Light Armor... Fern Pressed Cap (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 40 ac Test - 66 ac For Light Armor... Pristine Tailored Tanned Pants (Handcrafted) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 77 ac Test - 66 ac Badger Pelt Armguards (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 61 ac Test - 54 ac For Medium Armor... Pristine Forged Feyiron Chainmail Leggings (Handcrafted) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 171 ac Test - 180 ac Feysteel Brigadine Leggings (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 174 ac Test - 205 ac For Heavy Armor... Pristine Forged Feyiron Vanguard Barbute (Hand Crafted) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 148 ac Test - 152 ac Steel Platemail Helm (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 115 ac Test - 132 ac Jewellery... Pristine Fashioned Diamondine Girdle (Handcrafted) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 47 ac Test - 50 ac Rope Belt of Witherstraw (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 17 ac Test - 19 ac Runed Ancient Ring (Treasured) at Mastery EQ2 Players - 31 ac Test - 36 ac

Message Edited by Scrav on 04-23-2005 02:16 AM

so according to what I see there, light armor wearers (Monk, Druid) are losing ac but everybody else is gaining some. Doesn't seem right to me but then again this is all subject to change I suppose.

What about Legendary armor though? I read the diff tiers of armor, Handcrafted, Legendary etc are more "meaningful" does that mean armor made from rares is actually a lot better than basic ?
