From this test note today:- NPCs now do their auto-attack damage slightly more often but hit for less damage, making each hit less lethal. Because player characters will be hit a bit more often, we have increased the effectiveness of the Channeling skill.Could anyone explain this "Channeling skill"? The only mention I found for it on Search was in the Testers Only forum, where I can't go.

channeling skill kicks in when you are interrupted by a mob and allows you to push through the interruption and continue casting.

-Aeg

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere, so we do not know if it is a skill that gets better with "practice" (ie, you are interrupted so you have a chance at skill up), or whether it just goes up by 4 or 5 per level automatically. However I can report to you that I experienced noticably fewer interrupts, for sure, on Test today. This is a huge boon for soloing casters.

I wonder if Crusaders get such a skill. We may still have parry but we are still subject to increased interuptions.

Thanks, folks. I suspected it was something like this, but I didn't even know it was there!
