One way to actually get this game up and running would be to ask the players... mabe go from server to server asking the top players of that class what the problems were that they had. get those fixed and then balance them and wow... hey poeple might just start coming back... wouldnt that be amazing<span>:smileysurprised: im just asking the derves to go in game and ask poeple who have experienced things what there opinion is. is that really so much to ask for? o ya acting on what poeple have said might help to...(just a hint if the derves actually reed this... have had problems befor *cof*agil*cof*nerf) </span><div></div>
<DIV>Asking 'the people' is rarely gonna give you any helpfull answers. <BR>Go ahead and ask 'the people' what they think of taxes. The majority will tell you 'taxes sux' and the top tax payers will be the loudest.<BR>You can win any election by promising to lower the taxes ("read my lips ... <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> ") and you can win any player by promising to implement his stuff - if that's really a long term guarantee for a successfull state/game is another question.</DIV>

I dont know...ask a couple thousand people what they want, and I think you'll get a couple thousand different answers. I think that if there was an easy answer they could do that would increase the number of people playing and not destroy the game in the process...they would have done it already. <div></div>
<DIV>Who are the derves? :smileytongue:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Besides a lot of people say what they think without being asked. A lot of people also want to impose their beliefs on others too. In the end the devs will give us what they feel is best for the game, and if we don't like it we simply find a new game to enjoy.</DIV>
I would never ever want to play a game designed by players..... yuck!

Players are usually the worst game designers. If you ask a large number of players what they want, and then actually do all of it, you'll end up with essentially god mode. No challenge, everyone as uber as everyone else, no tradeoffs. Good game design restricts what players get in order to make a more challenging and fun game. Honestly, I think the devs should create a "God Mode" server. On that server, all player damage is multiplied by 4, all NPC damage is cut by 1/2, and all negative spell effects don't happen to players. Then the people complaining about how weak or unbalanced they are can go play on that server, and leave the real game to the rest of us who remember that this game is only 6 months old. Are things unbalanced? Sure. Can the devs improve on the game? Of course. Will they? Yep, give them time. Am I channeling Donald Rumsfeld and his rhetorical question style? You bet. <div></div>
