<DIV>If the reason for the NO-TRADE tag on quest items is to prevent the market being flooded with them as the Devs have said, then I would propose another solution.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3><STRONG>The EQ-1 Tribute system was VERY effective at removing these types of items from the market and could easily be converted to a Status-giving system.</STRONG></FONT> This would better fit the game lore, better fit immersion, still allow players to reap reasonable rewards from their quests, still allow Freeport players to get the better Qeynos quest rewards, and more importantly not make the game SO RESTRICTIVE IT ISNT EVEN FUN.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I really think it would be a better and more immersive solution.</DIV>

<DIV>Tribute would be a good solution not just to the glut, or potential future glut, of quest reward items on the market but also to controlling the amount of sub-50 dropped items on the market once the population starts to hit the cap.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As I've said here and elsewhere I think the NO TRADE idea is a bad one - Status Points for items seems like a much better solution to me as well.</DIV>

I disagree as the cost of such item would rocket through the roof as people use them to pad their SP for apartments and status purchased items. You are supposed to earn SP, not buy them.

You would be earning them......you are turning quested items in, after all.....not much different then questing for status.
