Just like in EQ-1, it would be GREAT if we had a: Target NEAREST lowest-level/least threat NPC >ENGAGED< in encounter w/group key... I hate accidently targeting some non-engaged mob with TAB and having a wizard blow it up and adding 3-4 mobs to the encounter... and... I hate having to use the mouse to pick the next target. -- Coz <div></div>

I'll back this suggestion also. Tab is useless as it is. I've targetted things at max range instead of the 6 mobs standing directly in my PoV.
<P>They need to NOT change the existing TAB key, but instead add a new programmable hotkey that will Cycle Engaged Mobs.</P> <P>If they have aggro on any group member they are in the cycle.</P> <P>This would fix the problem and not upset anyone who likes the current system.</P> <DIV>You could use the current tab to choose a new target when pulling or conning and the new button when you are engaged and finding the next target, an add on the healer, a mob behind the ogre etc. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The key is to have the trigger tied to the Mobs aggro. If it is aggroed then it gets targetted. Not the encounter. Several encounters at one time are very difficult to cycle thru.</DIV>
