View Full Version : Good god im bored.
<DIV>Ive been 50 for a little more than a month (warlock) . Since intel is about useful as honkers on a nun, their is not a big thrill from raiding. The thing I dont understand is the whole good/evil thing. Why on earth would you have a good and evil setting without a team pk server? Im not a die hard pker, just want a third option to crafting/leveling/Group Pking. I guess the Team pk sever is a long way away because they dont even have frogs yet =(. I already tried WOW and that was no fun playing Crash Bandicoot Online. Just a matter of time till something else is release that can appeal to the part time Pker, that dont look like a [Removed for Content] cartoon.</DIV>

<DIV>Lol. Yeah, INT does nothing for casters after 200. I can get 249 self buffed and I havn't even bought one of the new ruby imbued rings..I can probably cast one more nuke than someone who has 80 less intelligence than me.</DIV>

Maybe that will be the salvation to all the bored level 50's playing EQ2. I'm not near 50 yet so have no idea how boring it is there. I'm bored lots of times on my wiz and he's only 27 atm lol. Got a bunch of toons around level 17-21 so kinda glad I didn't make just one toon and get it to 50 fast if it is boring once you get there. Interesting thing about DDO is there will be multiclassing on one toon. Can have atleast 3 classes on your one toon maybe 4 classes if they decide to go that high. But 3 classes at the minimum. Graphics from what few screenshots I've seen look pretty good too.<BR>

<DIV>DDOnline. MMMmmmmm.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Try Lineage2 if you want PKing.</DIV>
<DIV>-Relax...it's just an update for the patch to fix the nerf that nerfed the fix for the update of the patch that broke the fix that was fixed on the previous nerf they called an update... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>thats so funny i had to make sure i read it right.</DIV>
<P>Been 50 for more than a month, and you're bored?</P> <P>Might I suggest that you try creating a new character? There are three other primary character classes than the one you have at 50 (assuming you don't have four characters at 50 now), and an entirely other city with its own faction, quests, and content to experience.</P>
<DIV>Well, that xp grind was annoying. Wish you could twink char's like in eq1. Guess I will cancel my account till an expantion comes out, or a pk server. Been fun peoples.</DIV>

They'll just play and be "bored" of DDO when they hit the cap there too (level 10 I think, or was it 20). Any player who has the capability of 'leveling' through a game at a steady/fast pace will get <b>bored </b>simply because the developers have a full-time job and do <b>other things</b> besides code, so that in turns makes changes take time. More time it seems than most players who have plenty of time to go through the content. Its a paradox that won't go away with any game in the near future. They are all EQ clones. Read em and weep. Once another game comes out that can break the UO barrier (skill based NO LEVELS) then you'll have the potential for a great game that will be very versatile in how it presents its content.</span><div></div>
<DIV>I'd ask the age old "Can I have your stuff? " line.............</DIV> <DIV>but with update #6 coming.... *sigh* no I can't have anyone's stuff</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>:smileytongue:</DIV>
