The change to allow 24/7 offline selling benefits ONLY the tradeskillers who will now be able to sell their products 24/7. The adventurer will now be totally shut down because they will have NOTHING to sell except harvestable resources. The first change was attunable items that once attuned became no-trade. Ok, that was fair enough, once you made the choice to attune an item, it became yours and yours alone, saleable only to a merchant. NOW, they intend to mark every item of dropped equipment No-Trade. Even if you can't use the item, ever, it will never be able to be sold to another player. This is lunacy, and they seriously need to rethink this horrible proposed change!

Lol, adventurers only having harvestable loot to sell? Do you just avoid treaure chests or something? I have 3 strongboxes full of Adept 1s that I need to sell.

I mean really its QUEST REWARDS ONLY, not all loot.

All the changes that have gone through the game i have pretty much stuck with it and had no complaints. But logging on today into tthe forums and seeing this it doesnt make me happy. Why do something like this, every [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] quest item no trade [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]!? When im browsing the market for a nice new dagger am i to expect crappy merchant fodder now? Stuff i wouldnt even buy unless it was under value and i wanted to sell to vendor for abit of silver.

I can just see it now, hey you 5 guys! want to help me complete a quest so i can get an item for myself? guys....? hello...?

MyleeSilverwings wrote:NOW, they intend to mark every item of dropped equipment No-Trade.

That's incorrect. The patch notes state that Quest Reward items are flagged as No-Trade by default now. Most of the time, Quest Rewards aren't as good as items I find in chests anyway, so its not a big deal. Guess you'll just have to do that quest with your alt if you want him/her to have the item... /pout

Since most time when people completed a quest the reward is something you can't use (eg a bow to a pally) or gray out (can't complete quests until you have the level to solo it), this change means that people will now have to destroy the quest rewards instead of selling it for a bit of coins.

With ordinary quest reward you can't even mount it in your house.

What the point in doing alot of the quests? This will means alot of quests will now have no value. This will cut down a lot of content for a lot of people.

Also you can only received quest rewards only once, there is no issue about people farming quest items.

Please SOE think about this proposed change a bit more. It is not a game breaking issue but why make more of your customers unhappy for no good reason?!
